Tim, that's seaweed, not garbage! Yes, probably some debris mixed in there but it's mostly seaweed. A lot of it is still there from the hurricane. Seaweed is not the most pleasant but as it gets buried by sand it will actually help prevent further beach erosion after Hurricane Irma.
Visited from the UK this year and LOVE the stretch of beach near Ron Jon, where the surf school is. Much quieter. The Sandbar Sports Grill is so good. If I ever had a beach bar I'd want it to be just like the Sandbar. Ah, dreaming of Cocoa Beach.
These are the kind of posts I love the most. I'm as a big a Disney dork as anyone. But these regular life and stuff in Central Florida posts help my partner and me really wrap our minds--and hearts--around the region in a practical way as we plan to relocate to Orlando in the next year or two. Thank you for them!
Love how you and Jen are always quoting vines!!! I do that ALL THE TIME, seems like the older a vine gets the more relevant it is to me. I annoy my boyfriend constantly with quotes and then follow it up with showing him the vines from references he doesn't get. Love the Nicki Mijaj vine, thanks for sharing your experiences and making me giggle
Love the architecture. VERY art deco! So much so that the Keystone Clothiers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is modeled after the pointed turret thing from Ron Jon’s!
Thanks for the Cocoa beach video! My family and I lived in Cape Canaveral a few years ago and it was great seeing that area again! When we were there, the beach was beautiful. And our kids were tiny and I remember checking out that tiny shark tank in the store often for their amusement 😄. Love you guys, thanks!
Hey Tim, that architecture in the Cocoa Beach Surf Shop was Art Deco, much like Ocean Drive on Miami Beach. Art Deco is pretty cool and that surf shop has always had that deco vibe! Awesome video. Took me down memory lane. I used to camp in that area a lot.
As someone who lives ten minutes away from that beach. Go once, then leave soon. Great place to visit to say you've been there. But go just ten minutes south or north and the beaches are much emptier and clearer. Just make sure you respect the beach. Biggest local pet peeve
They look like super fancy Wings stores that you see on every corner of NC & SC beach streets. But less kitschy stuff and more stuff that you may actually need.
We stayed at cocoa beach for the first time in October and it may have been because it was just after the hurricane but we were not super impressed with the vibe compared to other Florida beaches. The Ron jon surf shop on the other hand we went crazy buying stuff in there- love it!
We stayed further north in Cocoa Beach when we were there in 2012 after our Disney trip. We enjoyed the beach near our hotel but we mostly went to Cocoa Beach so we could visit Kennedy Space Center so we didn't get to Ron Jon's. The ocean water was so warm in June, something we Pennsylvania people don't experience when we visit the NJ beaches in June. The water is barely 60 in mid June up north. It would be interesting to see what the actual ocean temperature was when Tim visited.
I live in Florida and I have my whole life. I always used to go to the Theme parks and Coco beach and I love just watching your videos for my 10 year old memories (I am 13 so it was not that long ago lol).
Me and my husband live in cocoa beach 😊 Our beaches are normally very beautiful. We're still getting back together from the hurricane. During the summer is the best time to visit if you don't mind tourists. If you set your trip around the time for a rocket launch you can watch it from the beach I do every time there is a launch ❤️
Sharks actually have really sensitive nodes on their nose which helps them detect where fish are by using a magnetic field. Just a marine biology nerd who loves to watch you guys!
When Tim was at Longboards Tiki Beach Grille, I had a moment of Deja Vu, then I realized I ate there when I stayed at the Hilton it's attached to before I went on a Disney Cruise.
Tim, I actually stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton in Cocoa Beach this past July for a few days. The hotel was pretty nice, with oversize rooms that had a separate living area as well. Back then, there was no seaweed washed ashore like you saw, and it was actually very pleasant, and free :-)
I live 7 miles from Anna Maria Island. It is not less crowded! It took us 2 hours to drive from the tip of longboat key to Cortez bridge this weekend. But it is a million times prettier than the other side of FL.
I’ve been to Cocoa Beach a few times and I prefer St. Augustine instead of Cocoa simply because the beach is smoother and nicer in my opinion but visiting Cocoa Beach to check out Ron John’s or restaurants is awesome.
I live in Titusville FL and go to Playalinda beach on the Canaveral National Seashore. It's a wildlife refuge and you have to pay about $5 a car but its worth it. We've seen sea turtles, dolphins, and lots of other wildlife. Very clean beach and you can see NASA from there.
I stayed there in June and I went to that shop too and we went to universal and it was awesome I wish I had the chance to meet you at universal but I don’t think you went that day
Oh man. I have bittersweet memories of Cocoa Beach. I was on a cruise for my honeymoon 4 years ago, ended up having to disembark at the first port (Cocoa Beach) to be hospitalized due to a pulmonary embolism. My poor husband had a lot of nice cab drivers taking care of him as he went to and from the hotel to visit me. We found a lot of great hole-in-the-wall restaurants after I was discharged though! Our favorite was Beachside Grill & Deli run by Mike. He'd chat with us if he wasn't super busy and give us free popsicles. :D

I think we need to see Tim Surf some waves.
yea, surf in his jeans, ha
He did at Typhoon Lagoon a few months ago!

I’d love an updated Cocoa Beach Vlog from Tim & Jen!
I live in Clearwater-Tampa and it’s really nice and the beaches here don’t have the season where jellyfish just wash up on shore!
6:38 Tim, as if I couldn’t love you anymore! You and Jenn are literally so funny with the Vine references omg 😂
The beach by the cocoa beach pier is pretty good
Love how you and Jen are always quoting vines!!! I do that ALL THE TIME, seems like the older a vine gets the more relevant it is to me. I used to live in melbourne bch and loved it.loved the whole area over there.miss it
I love Cocoa Beach. Glad you are showing more of Florida 👍🏼
Love the architecture. VERY art deco! So much so that the Keystone Clothiers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is modeled after the pointed turret thing from Ron Jon’s!
Now these are the kind of vlogs that I like. A huge thumbs up for this one.

I absolutely love Tim’s random vine references
6:36 is the funniest thing i've ever heard lol
10/10 would visit Ron Jon’s surf shop! Thanks for the tour, Tim!
I want a captain's hat! You guys are so lucky to have all these cool things so close by!
They look like super fancy Wings stores that you see on every corner of NC & SC beach streets. But less kitschy stuff and more stuff that you may actually need.
Having been to both, that is 100% accurate.
I love this four points hotel. Sooooo nice. Love cocoa beach
Magnets, How do they work?
Miracles, Tim... Miracles.
We used to have a Ron Jon in CA. There was a Hilo Hattie store there too and I think I miss that more.
mushieslushie At the Block in Orange, CA. Ah the good old days...

EDventures * ED it’s straight over from me on the Atlantic coast. Bout 2 hour 15 MJ nite drive. Hey buddy
We stayed at cocoa beach for the first time in October and it may have been because it was just after the hurricane but we were not super impressed with the vibe compared to other Florida beaches. The Ron jon surf shop on the other hand we went crazy buying stuff in there- love it!
My late husband and I used to ride out to Ron John's from Orlando. Always cool place to shop.
I come to cocoa beach every year and it is great
I haven't been to Ron Jon's since they were in the original building in the late 70s-early80s.
Just watching this, catchy up. Great job, as usual, Tim, thanx!!

Me and my family always go to RonJon whenever we are in the area. On of our favorite spots to shop before cruises that leave out of Port Canaveral
YES!!!! I LOVE COCOA BEACH..!!!! I BASICALLY GREW UP THERE AND ITS CRAZY THAT YOU WENT TO THE SAME RON JOHN AS ME!!!!! I LOVE YALLS CHANNEL
Ah we are staying at Cocoa Beach for the week from Monday - first trip to Florida from the UK. So excited!
Those are pretty good suggestions Tim im gonna do more research on those beaches, cause I never heard of them before.
LOVE RON JON'S!!
Me and my husband live in cocoa beach 😊 Our beaches are normally very beautiful. We're still getting back together from the hurricane. Tim referencing my favourite vine added about 10 years to my life
We were there at Ron Jons after our disney cruise in July, such a great and fun store!!
Omg I️ love Ron jons hope you guys had fun!
Hey Tim!!! You should totally come to Sarasota Florida and explore siesta and mote marine!!!!
As I watch you walk along the beach, here in Massachusetts it's minus one (-1)! wind chill. Packin' my bags and moving.
Sharks actually have really sensitive nodes on their nose which helps them detect where fish are by using a magnetic field. Just a marine biology nerd who loves to watch you guys!
Living on this side I only go to the beaches across from the Air Force base. But certainly felt spoiled when we went across to enjoy the Gulf.
I love the gulf side beaches 💙 but I have always wanted to see cocoa beach and the surf shop.
Love this store.
When Tim was at Longboards Tiki Beach Grille, I had a moment of Deja Vu, then I realized I ate there when I stayed at the Hilton it's attached to before I went on a Disney Cruise.
I love the time lapse intro, keep doing it
ohh new intro for the Trackers!
Beaches change over time. See it now, and your experience would be awesome 👍 🌴😎🌴
Tim, try Siesta Key Beach in Sarsota Florida. Best sand of any beach, it's Quartz. You will love it!
Love Cocoa Beach ❤️
Awesome video quality
Yup, we wore those "potato sack" jackets in the 90s haha. I still kind of like them tbh.

i got drunk and my friend left me in cocoa beach for Orlando. I fell asleep on the ground right where you started this video. Good times
Wow!I literally went to cocoa Florida 6 days ago
this is the first video i have seen from this channel and my first reaction is that he sounds like barney 😂💜
Reminds me of Bass Pro Shops here in Califonria. Lots of animals and a bowling alley.
I live 7 miles from Anna Maria Island. It is not less crowded! It took us 2 hours to drive from the tip of longboat key to Cortez bridge this weekend. But it is a million times prettier than the other side of FL.

Yesssss💕💕
Tim, cocoa Beach is like my second home, I was just there last week!
Y’all should visit the panhandle! I’ve been to beaches all over Florida and the Panhandle is by far the best!
You should go to Daytona Beach and visit the beach and pier!
LOVE COCOA BEACH!!
I went there on a cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway!
i live right around the corner from this. lol. my dads also hung all those hurley boards
4:27 Totally got that ICP- Miracles reference lol 😂
I live in Titusville FL and go to Playalinda beach on the Canaveral National Seashore. It's a wildlife refuge and you have to pay about $5 a car but its worth it. We've seen sea turtles, dolphins, and lots of other wildlife. Very clean beach and you can see NASA from there.
I went to the exact store you were in and I was standing in the exact same spot you were in on 0:49

Everytime we got to Disney we go to Cocoa Beach and visit Ron Jon and eat at Barrier Jack's!
nicki minjaj vine bahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Last time I was there, they had a live band playing.
It didn't look too crowded to me but I'm used to going to myrtle beach,sc and it's very crowded unless it's winter.
