I think my favorite memory was seeing them at union transfer in philly...They finished the almost 2 hour show and after handing his guitar to the roadie, Chris took a big swig of water and stepped off stage. He proceeded to stand at the front of the venue and talk to each and every one of the fans who had the gumption to come up to him and chat. He must have stood there for forty five minutes after everyone cleared out and just shot the shit with a few die-hard stragglers - answering questions, laughing and just socializing like an old friend. I think that gesture made more of an impression on me than any of his lyrics, which says a fucking lot, considering.
At 32:00 some dude gets on stage and accidentally unplugs chris's guitar. Chris responds by changing the lyrics from "consume us" to "you stupid fuck!" So good!
