Right or wrong, every body doesn’t react the same to conflict. Some people you ‘hit’ (physically or verbally) become violent back. SOME people… SILENTLY decide in that moment, “I am going to DESTROY You, at all costs.” They will play humbled or weak in the moment, to rock you to sleep. But, their inner thoughts are far more violent than if they actually tried to hit you back. EVEN if you are right in the situation, there’s a reason that in old times like even the bible would say to you…. never rejoice in the misfortunes of your enemy.
Because, when you embarrass a man.. you may turn a momentary adversary into a lifelong enemy. You turned his mind from deep down knowing he was wrong.. to now feeling like, going forward, he is absolutely right.
I am sure that some of the difficulties Dame has had, came from that direction - in some ways he knows, but, in other ways he probably has no idea where it came from. All over some kind of petty street pride, “He looked like he might do something. So i slapped him, cuz they would start clowning me if he did something. What if he caught me.
