I've owned my L300 since 2010 and love it. mine has been camperized, 5spd, duel fuel(Diesel/WVO), custom lifted and a roof rack with a rear tire carrier.

I had a L300 with left side steering wheel. It was a "Exceed". Gasoline engine. I loved it but mileage was terrible, a fuel tank would not make 200 miles.
It is a cool car, you are right.
