I took risperidone once and had the worst nightmares. I was also extremely thirsty through the night and couldn't stay still. I felt like I wanted to die. I think antipsychotics in general are bad news for everyone. But I can't imagine anything worse than this drug.
Risperidone is a nasty drug. But I once tried lurasidone and just 40mg made me have to keep moving because I was so damn uncomfortable. It felt like I had nowhere to go and nowhere to hide from the discomfort. It made me psychotic. Lurasidone, to me, is the worst drug. But risperidone is close. They are like drugs of torture when taken in high amounts. Thank you so much for sharing that with me.
