When sharing the Lord with a man I'd never met before I felt led to tell him about the gifts of the Spirit. When telling him about the word of knowledge as an example I said it would be like telling him his name was Jim Anderson and his wifes' name was Julie and they lived at 116 Walnut Street. He stepped back and said, how did you know all that? Without knowing it the Holy Spirit actually gave me that word of knowledge and as a result that man gave his life to Christ right there. I've learned that if we as God's ambassadors will have every expectation that God wants to use us by the power of the Holy Spirit, HE WILL!
1. The Good news Under 5 min 2. Prayer Be lead by Holy spirit prepared 3. Adapt Be relatable to your folks your trying to reach 4. Move in power Be lead by the Holy Spirit miracle signs wonders 5. Win the soul Build the relationship get them plugged in Plant a seed Water the seed God gives the increase and he Wins the soul
I tried the word of knowledge approach and he was quite shocked. But i felt choppy with the Gospel. I gave the word to Him nonetheless, but he proceeded to say his mom was mormon and his dad an atheist. I planted seeds, though. I asked him about having sleep paralysis and he confirmed in shock and asked how did I know. I said Jesus led me to mention it and he did mention he did ayahuasca. But he ended up having to leave. Keep him in prayer that God opens His eyes! He thought that mormonism is close to Christianity though he's not a mormon any longer. Didn't get to pray with him. I definitely gotta work on spending time in the Word more 😭. I wanna be able to flow better with the Lord. I wanna lead more to receive Christ on the spot but I know its a work of the Holy Spirit alone. For He draws all men to Himself.
I saw your testimony last night of where you’ve been of your military career of your drug dealing career and how you were saved by the Lord Jesus. I really relate to you. I love you so much, bro. In Jesus name. I’m so glad I found this. In the name of Jesus, the king bless you. I hope I can meet you someday I’m going to evangelize. I’m serving. I’ve just recommitted myself to Jesus Christ. Thank you bro.
I’m evangelizing at my hometown fair this weekend a lot of wickedness happens their God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power love and a sound mind, and I know he will send me willing vessels to hear the gospel, and I pray for boldness amen
What I’ve been feeling lately about discipleship is overwhelming. In a good way but also with great urgency. Funny everything you taught are the exact things I cried out and heard the Spirit speak of in my prayer before I watched this tonight.
Thanks for this video!!! Me & my husband are going on a missions trip for the first time to Cuba in October & we could really use some prayer, that god uses us in a mighty way!!!! We have never evangelized so our minds are kind of wondering 💭 thanks 😊
This is so good. For a while now I have been moving out of my flesh and like you said I saw little or no fruit. Only twice in 3 years was there fruit or I was accurate in what I was saying. God bless this ministry I have received freedom about my appearance as well cause I thought too hard about how people will receive me based off of what I'm wearing, but I see now He really does want us to be ourselves and He will send us to the person who is ready. Thank you, Pastor Rich
U inspirer me so much brother I'm from a small island in the Caribbean and I needed to see this video u get straight to the point,it's basic and understandable!!God bless this ministry
This is an iron sharpening iron thing: you start right off with the good news but don't give them the bad news. How will a patient care to see a doctor if they don't know they are sick? 2nd thing: The woman at the well. Jesus starts off in the natural and then moves to the spiritual. Your opening was you said you are going to do a spiritual interview right off the bat. You are bold and have a lot going for you. Adapt - excellent take on that.
Thank you Pastor Rich. I think i've been doing a mistake while I was preaching because as you said i was too like religious like i had love but i was too fast . Really I thank you and i will try to apply those tips . God bless all ✝️❤️🙏
Thanks, Pastor Rich, brilliant teaching as always. I thank the Lord for your ministry and the beautiful work going on for the Kingdom of God. Be encouraged as souls are being saved and lives being changed through the sharing of the Gospel. All Praise and Honour to our Beloved Yesuha, the King of Kings 🙌
Thank you pastor rich, I’m tapping in rn I need that discipleship course frfr trying to start winning souls in the name of Jesus man and I love what you doing for people. Keep leading us sheep to glory💯
This is my opinion for the, "adapt" part. I thought it is worth sharing that the power is in the Word, regardless of what you look like (or wear) or how you speak. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 1:17, "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel-not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power."
Praise Jesus, when i go out sometimes i get so paranoid and anxious that if i don’t say the perfect thing to everyone, i start to feel doubt and condemnation
My mom is Catholic and I feel like God has called me to lead my family to him but I just don't know how, I know the Gospel, I do pray but I don't know to to impact and change the way she thinks specifically about baptism and following Christ. Please help me
What is “evangelism”? Most people think of evangelism as the preaching of the gospel, especially by protestant ministers. Suggestion 1: Anything we do to encourage faith in Jesus is evangelism. Suggestion 2: There are preaching evangelists, singing evangelists, medical evangelists, literature evangelists, radio evangelists, television evangelists, Internet evangelists, hospitality evangelists and probably more kinds than listed here. Suggestion 3: It is possible to measure the success of evangelism in other ways than by the number of people who make professions of faith in Jesus or by the number of people who join a religious organization. Thousands (maybe millions) of laity are evangelists. How about you? Do you encourage people to trust the Lord? Do you do so in any of the ways suggested by the above list? Suggestion 4: If you wish to talk with people about faith, first “earn the right” to do so. Spend enough time with a person or a family or other group of people to give that person or group reasons to a) trust you and b) realize you are interested in other things...preferably things in which that person or group is interested...before focusing on what faith is and how it is acquired. The faith of Jesus is an historic faith, not only in the sense that it existed before our grandparents were born but in the sense that faith is the evidence of things not seen* and much of that evidence is in the form of the history of how the creator has related to members of Adam’s rebellious race. Suggestion 5: Before introducing historical events that encourage faith in Jesus, try talking about historical events that might be found in secular history books. In the United States, both adults and children find the history of the Pony Express interesting. Many people find political revolutions and technological advancements interesting. If a person really doesn’t seem interested in other aspects of history, it is advisable to be even more careful about introducing the history of philosophy but the context of the birth of Jesus can be introduced even before Jesus himself is mentioned. What were the beliefs of the majority of the citizens of the Roman empire two thousand years ago? Which of those beliefs were adopted or adapted from the Greeks? How did the beliefs of the Hebrews in Judea contrast with the philosophy of the Romans? Many believers “run ahead of God” in the sense of answering questions their neighbors aren’t asking. If one role of a teacher is to encourage curiosity and the joy of discovering new ideas, is that any less so of an evangelist? If or when you have reasons to believe your neighbor really IS interested in history...especially in the history of ideas...there are three aspects of faith you may wish to introduce to your neighbor, 1: Justification 2: Sanctification 3: Glorification. If you live in western culture, your neighbor is likely to already be acquainted with the concept (whether or not it has been internalized) that the creator has given the human race instructions about how to live, that we become alienated from him by ignoring those instructions and that we can have a connection with the divine by obtaining his forgiveness for our failure to follow those instructions. Theologians refer to God’s forgiveness as justification. Millions of people who claim to trust the Lord for the forgiveness of their transgressions assume that the next step is to try to live as he lived. One alternative is to trust the Lord for the necessary transformation. Theologians disagree as to whether such transformation is effected gradually or suddenly but, either way, they refer to such transformation as sanctification. Is there more, even, to the gospel message than that we can be forgiven and transformed? Is it reasonable to hope to see our deceased loved ones again? If so, how is that possible? What is heaven? Is it possible to live in “heaven”? What does that mean exactly? “Spirits” floating around on clouds incessantly strumming golden harps? Or can the evidence be interpreted as meaning that Jesus will return to Earth to resurrect the people who have died in faith and take living believers with them to the mansions he has gone to prepare? If living in the very presence of God and holy angels requires a fundamental change from our mortal condition, when and how will that happen. Theologians have a variety of theories about that subject but they call that change glorification. Of those three subjects...justification, sanctification and glorification...which do you emphasize first or most? Can you make that decision based on evidence that your neighbors already have belief systems based on what they have been taught or what they have studied for themselves? *things we can’t observe with our natural senses and can’t measure with scientific instruments
My method is how would you explain the Gospel to a six year old? I try to quickly yet simply explain the Gospel while making sure the person I'm talking to knows that I'm talking with them because I truly care about them. Sometimes if you have scripted responses it can come off as that and people will walk away because they just hear a bunch of words that make no sense to them. Praying before you go out is also very important. We are doing this because we truly care about them so really try to show your compassion with that person trust me they notice. Make sure your heart is in it also. I've went out once and my heart wasn't in it and I pushed the gentleman I was speaking too away. I felt horrible about it because I didn't represent God in a loving compassionate way that day. Pray about it every encounter is different ask God to use you and tell you what to say believe it and he will.
I agree with everything your saying except I'm struggling with the order of the steps. Shouldn't power (anointing) be the very first step? along with prayer be the number 1 steps. To be Sent by the Lord and guided by God are examples found in the bible, which ultimately comes from a prayer life. This is a honest question.? Everything ur saying in this video is amazing and very helpful thank you for dropping gems. *ignore my music channel. I've rededicated my life to the Lord and I'm no longer my old self. I just haven't made a new UA-cam.
