I have a 2020 Spark with 28,000 miles on it. One time I was way late for work so I hit 100 mph on the Garden State Parkway. Finally, made it to the Holland at 12:10 but still stuck at the Holland Tunnel at 12:45. However, the dependable Spark got me to work, via the GSP, at 1:37 on King George's Road in Edison, NJ. So I was only 17 minutes late. Love the Little Guy! Give it regular oil changes and Seafoam treatments. CVT fluid is gonna be changed (just changed, no flushes) once the Spark hits 30K. Looking to have this guy last longer than my 2 Mustangs and Grand Prix.
Seafoam is a detergent/lubricant that you add to the gas when you are about to fill up your Spark. Being that my Spark is still young (2020 with 48+K), I do mine every 3,000 miles. However, I am trying Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant and Injector Cleaner. It is easier to find and cheaper than Seafoam. Add to the regular 5000 miles oil change, I should have this Spark way pass the 250,000 mile mark.@@gumdokim
Its this new trend that automakers tend to implement on their CVT based cars. They're basically simulated gears, its just a trick on adjusting the pulley ratio accordingly so the rpm goes down each "shift" like normal automatic cars
Not gonna lie it seemed faster than 10.38 seconds . Maybe because the engine note actually sounded surprisingly pleasant like a playful and fiesty miniature pinscher growling in play

If you keep cutting tenths off your times like that, by the 30th run you'll be stride for stride with a zl1 camaro.
Its true i was the ZL1 that got beaten by a spark.
Since it's a CVT, I wonder why it seemed to shift between several gears

Does the complete opposite of what a CVT should do. Less efficient and actually gets you to your desired speed in a longer time.

You should do more of this with different cars that would be cool
what does the timer mean thats going up
I wonder how it would do with 1/4 of a tank hehe! AND ALSO WITH A 20°C OUTSIDE TEMP. Also without traction control would be interesting!
Slow but stupid cheap
Waoo nice! 👍
Not bad
Put in L and to push too much the brake so you can lauch with a higher RPM
i searched up "slowest car" and this popped up
Oh this isn’t even close. The Mitsubishi Mirage is what you’re looking for.
