Once again I'm sitting at work with tears on my face watching the end of this video. I can just imagine Nolans dad in heaven. No pain. No sickness. No sorrow. Only peace and joy forever more. I pray that God's peace will be over all the family.

the Mennonite Mom ; Bless your little Family. I am so inspired by your bravery ( I know you didn’t really have a choice given your condition but still ... ) that long trek by yourself in the dead of winter AND knowing what awaited you on the other end. But I can only imagine knowing how much Nolan needed you and feeling so alone here in such a heavy time spurned you on. It’s clear you loved your Father In Law. May the Lord comfort you all. ❤️🙏

The story of life laid out in another incredible video. The music, the videography, the script -- all so well done to capture the generations of souls passing through time. The old and the young. Dad/Grandpa has gone Home; there is new life on the ranch as children play and learn. The momma cows with their calves. Some day, the curse will be completely lifted and there will be no more death. Until then, we live in hope of the resurrection of the just. Come, Lord Jesus.

so relatable. My father in law passed 6 yrs ago and we rushed (only 7 hours away) down to make it in time for his last days at home. It was such a bittersweet time. My first two were only 2 and 3 at the time and it WAS a beautful blessing to have their joy in the midst of such sorrow. It is a very personalized journey but one we all at some point (or a hundred other) walk through as well. I appreciate your sensitivity toward your family and I also think of the ancient wailing women that would show up to "share" in the grief of a passing and am thankful you are allowing us to share in this hope filled burden with you. My prayer is that it would remain that and not be twisted into entertainment for anyone who visits your channel ❤️🙏 May he rest in peace, may joy continue to seep into the cracks of the familys daily life and thank you Jesus for your glory and might that won us through this shadow of death forever!
ps: why do haircuts make them look sooo much older?! Such a handsome dude!

Such a sweet video. I LOVE your choices of music.
I was born and raised in Idaho, less than 30 miles from the Oregon border, so it's neat to see familiar looking scenery after moving away from Idaho over 40 years ago.
I had to make a road trip, too, (only a 21 hour drive--much shorter than your trip) a couple of weeks ago, for the funeral of my first great-grandbaby who only lived an hour or so. But I had two teenage grandsons with me who both drive, so that made the trip much more pleasant. Like you and your father-in-law, I cling to the promise of heaven and that one day I will get to meet little Stephen Levi, who was named after my late husband. Heaven gets sweeter and sweeter. I wanna go there!!! :-)

I love how you explain things to your viewers. The way you said how you aren't comfortable sharing your feelings and experience of your fatter in law passing away and all of those emotions really struck me. So many people just share intimate things like that on UA-cam and I guess that is okay for them but I love that you kept that private. I never once thought you were trying to make it all about you by talking about the struggles of traveling, etc, but I think it is wonderful how you explain that so viewers understand. You are so thoughtful and aware.
I loved this video and seeing your sunshine boy Xander. I can see what a happy family you are. I am so glad you had a nice visit to family despite it being for the death of your father in law.

    Beautiful tribute to your father-in-law.
Your strength and endurance showed through in these last few videos. I know it comes from the Lord. Never put yourself down, you are an example for me. Thanks for being vulnerable.

Zander coming down the slide was hilarious. It is so true that children are our sunshine, even in life's saddest seasons. My sons handle my father's death so well and were a beautiful example of how to handle grief and feelings that were bigger than them.

Thank you for sharing this. So sorry for your families loss. Your father in law is missing out on such beautiful grandchildren. I lost my mom in April and we weren’t able to have a funeral because of COVID. Seeing this helped me. Bless you all.
