No, it would be 100% behind a paywall, making the shiny hunting more infuriating and simply unfair for some players. Plus, the game has already a lot higher shiny chances than main games. The appeal of shiny pokemon is their rarity, not their amount.

Research days and Raid days are 10% shiny chance. This is as high as it gets folks. For sake of comparision, 1/500 is 0.2% (So basically less than once in a blue moon)
Every time you spin a pokestop it'll give you a new field research task. Do you already have three field research tasks? If so it won't give you anymore, but some tasks are worth deleting and going to a different pokestop, like the ones that give you Nanab and Razz berries.
Field research trick doesn't work of you only try with one stop, you'll need 2 or more (essentially you can't delete the AR task and spin a stop that allows ar tasks because it'll just give you another AR task)
Have you head of the shiny ✨ trick where if you tap on a shiny Pokémon you stay on there and don’t catch just waiting till the refresh happens and then click off of the Pokémon after which the next Pokémon u tap on is guaranteed to be shiny

I don't even get the slightest dopamine hit when I get shinies anymore. I'm shocked that Niantic doesn't understand that sometimes less is more. We literally have youtubers transferring shinies for content because they don't care about them anymore. Players don't value shinies when they are common.

There are plenty of examples where communities provide criticism to the developers of a game which ends up fixing the issues. Criticism has been proven to work in many scenarios. Criticism is the only way to influence the developers.
The pokemon are permanently boosted. Whether in research tasks or not. The research tasks mentioned in the video will be going all season long and will only change during events.

Every player has to answer that question on his own. For power ups I personally only consider high iv.
