This is the biggest cry for help Ive ever seen
People doing whatever they want, whenever they want, to whomever they want, including themselves.
They need to be institutionalized ,not fucking subsidized, like our fucking politicians would like you to believe.

I lived at a place right next to that homeless encampment for several months and can attest that the people there are getting more and more brazen in their crazy behavior. I've spoken to the gentleman in the video and agree with all his observations. As there are no consequences to these people for their criminal actions, they keep getting worse. Happily I've moved away from the area, but still feel for those such as George who are stuck in the midst of it. This is a systemic failure of governance.

How can you be homeless when you don't have a home? Being home less would insinuate you're sometimes home. The word homeless never made any sense to me besides it's houses these people need, a home is an abstract setting, it's an idea it's a state of mind. These people need physical tangible structures but where are you going to put em'? I know... GOLF COURSES! just what we need plenty of good land in beautiful neighborhoods that is currently being devoted to a meaningless mindless activity done primarely by well-to-do white business men who like to get together to make deals to carve this country up a little bit finer amongst themselves. It's time to reclaim the land from the wealthy and turn it over to the -homeless- houseless's.
Golf is an arrogant elitist pasttime and it takes up entirely too much f***** room in this country and a racist game too.. the only blacks you'll find in country clubs are carrying trays. And a boring game for boring people The game itself speaks of arrogance just think of how big a golf course is?.. @@ca8944 i was homeless for 18 months. Most of which i spent in and out of jail for illegal camping and refusing to leave property when begging. It's very difficult to get out of homelessness once you get there. Especially as time goes by.
Nobody will give you a job since one you pretty much have to be dressed for one and secondly you have to have an address which last i checked homeless people don't have a home much less an address.
Facing constant shame, dehumanizations and ridicule. It will get to you eventually, and honestly if it wasn't for me getting high. I don't think I would be here today. Do drugs and getting high was the only way I could cope and tolerate the cruelness of this world. If it wasn't for that i would have ended my own life.
Eventually i was discovered by my cousin and he took me in and helped me get my life together. Without that i would have never escaped that life and would most likely be dead today as the thoughts of suicide were constant especially in the last months being out there.

@@ca8944 Let me tell you a story. You are probably thinking it was my own fault for ending up homeless or how i ended up that way in the first place. Maybe you are or aren't i don't know, but I'll tell you.
As you know when 2008 hit it had a huge impact on everyone especially for millennials like myself who we're graduating into a fked up economy and high standards of living that were becoming more and more constant as time went by. I had just graduated from highschool in 2008 the June before the crash and was on my way to college.
My school life i wouldn't say i was the best student, but i still has decent grades. If i had to grade myself i would say i was average when it came to school, but i fell short of a scholarship so i had to pay to go to college. Although eventually as time passed it was becoming hard for me to go to college and live at the same time. My living expenses were becoming to much that i had to choose between eating and having a roof over my head the next day or carry on starving and possibly ending up on the streets which i would anyways but that was 5 years away.
My friends and even some of my relatives ended up either ODing or taking their own lives. My uncle had pretty much invested his retirement in the stock market and it was going very great for him at first even had more then enough to retire, but that was not long before the crash. He was even planning to sell all his stocks and just retire by 2009 and as we all know what would happen in 2008 that wouldn't happen. He lost everything and his wife ended up divorcing him, and it was a nasty divorce where she pretty much ended up taking everything from him.
And yea not long after once he was served an eviction notice he ended his own life. His son didn't fair any better long after that. His parents divorce, his dad's suicide, his own relationship problems also having trouble and the financial stress. He too would follow my uncle months later.
Anyways back to my own story i eventually got a second job as a night time security guard. So i was working two jobs just to barely survive. I didn't have a life for four years outside of working and sleeping. The other job i was working at Target dealing with not only AH customers, but an Asshole manager as well. Well eventually where i was doing security no longer needed my services since they were going out of business. So i was let go, and at the time despite working two jobs i was living paycheck to paycheck just barely being able to survive. So one job wasn't enough for me to survive and eventually i ended up on the streets. And once i was there since i was kicked out and had to dealing with the aftermath of losing my house i wasn't able to do my job so Target fired me the same day i was evicted.
So i ended up homeless with nothing but the clothes on my back a, backpack and a gun i inherited from my granddad when he passed away. I was couch crashing for awhile but eventually that stop. So i was stuck living on the streets. I tried to find another job but because I didn't have an address i was rejected time and time again. Eventually i gave up and just resorted to begging. And some days were good and some were bad. Got into fights with store owners who wouldn't let me stay and was in and out of jail for illegal camping and refusing to leave. I hid my gun in a tree i hollowed out in a rural part of town at an abandoned factory where nobody went. I eventually just settled there since nobody was staying there and there was never any cops. Getting high and being alone with my thoughts for many hours. Looking at my gun for hours just thinking to myself if i should make the pain go away. But the hope of winning the lottery as delusional as it sounds kept me going. As well as getting high as well. One day i went to the store to buy a lottery ticket only to find my cousin working the register. He apparently bought the store and recently returned back home from Korea. He was in Korea for several years and i hadn't seen him in 10 years by that point. So he took me in and got me back in my feet.

The police don't come anymore and they never answer the 911 non-emergency numbers because they say reporting people doing drugs on the street and being aggressive is not an emergency. They instead send a nonprofit organization called circle who are supposed to be a part of Karen bass's compassionate team. I don't really see giving drug addicts compassion because it's a choice to do drugs it's a choice to stay on the streets and it's a choice to not want to seek help.

It is literally that bad, and people got to defend themselves now in a danger situation, and the unhinged politicians don't even care! They don't want to be proven wrong about crime. What they created is the criminal economy where criminals can scare people with guns, and take their valuables only to driveaway in a stolen car! Yup this is truly Grand Theft Auto on display! Unfortunately, the top two vote getters in the last mayoral election were both democrats towing the WEF line. The city doesn't stand a chance - it held out for a long time, though. I lived in Del Mar from 1967 (7 years old) through 1990 and am back to stay in my mother's house frequently. The only reason she still has that house is because back in the 70s a Republican legislator got a bill passed that protected people from wealth takeover in the form of ever rising taxes. Our quality of life in the late 60s, 70s and even 80s was far above what these multi-million dollar home owners here experience now. And they have no idea. All that matters is property value... as San Diego works on becoming another San Francisco. Sad and disgusting. Oh well.
