Very cool ideas. Though solar power may not work because most porch areas are shaded.
Didn’t even show the lights on so we could see what she was talking about how she didn’t like the spacing or brightness

Do the lights have a special name? I haven’t seen any like that before. I’m in Australia and since we now have Amazon in Australia....AND ITS CRAPPY I might add, we can’t even look at the US site anymore. Regardless, could you possibly put up a link to it? My daughter is in NC and could possibly send me the correct lights. Thanks!

What is the benefit to using hot glue on wood instead of wood glue? Haven’t seen that before
Dries in 3 min and not hours like wood glue. It's not regular hot glue. It's construction adhesive hot glue made my Surebonder.

Is the glue you used designed for the outdoors?
It's not specifically for outdoors, we are going to report back in a few months to how it's holding up. We could have easily brad nailed or screwed the back panels to the front boards, but we wanted to see if it would hold with just the glue. -Steph
