Amazed at how much recognition Andreeva is already getting from her peers. Good for her. I hope she stays healthy and motivated, she is a potential generational talent and is headed in the right trajectory. 👍 My favorite though: Sabalenka 🐯 🐅 😊
@@googoogooman Recognition from peers doesn't play the game. She could have beaten Sabalenka but keeps fallen short in crucial moments. She needs to grow up.
@ everything has a process. Your comment suggests you’re assuming Andreeva could have beaten Sabalenka today, but in my view she wasn’t ready. She is not good enough to beat Sabalenka in normal circumstances yet. She beat her once last year, but Sabalenka didn’t play her best then. Sabalenka is in great momentum right now, she was the clear favorite. But you’ll see how Andreeva will finish the season. Everything is a process in sport, particularly when you’re just starting your professional career. Andreeva needs to respect this process and continue being disciplined with her training. She will turn 18 years old by mid-season, and will since that point be able to play as many tournaments as she wishes. She will be able to increase her level the more she plays against top players, which she has only been able to do sporadically until now (in 1000 tournaments and GS). Right now, she is playing at least 25% less tournaments than anyone else per season. Compared to Diana Schnaider, for example, who played 27 tournaments and won 3, Andreeva only played 17 tournaments (both have similar rankings). I agree that peer recognition doesn’t win tournaments. She needs to continue working hard, with a lot of focus and dedication, and the results will come accordingly. If she sits in her laurels, she will remain as a mere “promise”. But we must not forget she’s only 17 years old! Getting recognition from your peers at such young age speaks for itself. They know the tsunami is coming.
@@googoogooman The process is taking too long. I mean she has the game to beat Sabalenka. I think her problem is overcoming the mental hurdle. But Conchita is not gonna babysit Mirra forever.
They’re part of the WTA tour too. If they authentically believe they could be a candidate for a certain category, what’s wrong with naming themselves. I see nothing wrong with that to be honest.
Noticed that, too. I'd never name myself. Even if I was convinced it should be me. Just humor your fellow players and name somebody else out of courtesy. It's not that hard to be nice.
Qinwen really hasn’t won a 1000? I guess she’s still really young but it seems like she should have one by now. I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t get one this year. I expect there will be multiple first time winners this year
The producers need to make a rule that players are not allowed to say "hopefully myself." 🙄 No sh*t you "hope" you have a good season, but who do you *actually think* is the most likely candidate for each of these questions? It's so boring and uninteresting when they just pick themselves out of wishful thinking instead of giving genuine honest predictions.
Most of the questions were 'firsts' that Gauff has already accomplished. Let's drop this tired and false narrative that most people hate Gauff as now it's just boring.
Hey it is not a false narrative. It is fact. I saw an online poll as to who is most likely to win the Australian open. Coco got the lowest score. The fact that you can't see the underlying issue clearly shows where you stand. @@redplague
I hate to say it but Coco has not been given the respect she deserves and it is largely due to people like you who try to rationalise every kind of prejudice that can be directed at her. Your use of the word " firsts" is extremely dishonest and the fact that you mentioned the word hate that l never alluded to clearly puts you in the category of the haters. You must be a Coco hater. She will soon surprise you. lt is not a secret that most of her fellow tennis players are intimidated by Coco so they would rather wish her away. It us not new. The attacks on her will get worse as she got better. That's whatit neans to be Coco@@redplague

Bcz she is Russian if she would belong from any other country then it would hard for her country like USA, UK, Russia, Aus

It is no coincidence Coco's name was not mentioned. Coco will once again steal the show and win more titles even as they would rather wish her away.
Coco has pretty much already done what the questions were about though so why would they mention her
