Just finished watching Bjorn Nyland review on his BYD EV. One of the things he has a problem was the battery temperature is high even in a place were it was 13 degrees Celsius. He was mentioning if that is the batteries temperature in a a cold environment then he can't imagine its temperature in places with above 30 degrees Celsius. This would concern me because the Philippines can reach to 40 degrees in Summer and many commented that the Chinese only designed their battery temperature control on colder climates because they have mostly cold climates were the cars are made. It may not cause a fire but at higher battery temperatures it can decrease the lifespan of the batteries. There was one comment who mentioned that some BYD users in Saudi had even upgraded their battery cooling system to adapt to the warm climate. Bjorn's other concern was problems with BYD on other charging stations from not getting the handshakes to having slow charging. He was able to solve this problem because they have different stations to transfer but here in the Philippines we don't have that many charging stations if one does not work properly in a BYD EV.

GWM ORA review please
Okay .. But can it go across a flooded street? Like a knee height flood? 🤔
Absolutely
@@modeticklestv4601 It will not electrocute us inside, right? That's my main concern, since the batteries are underneathe the suv and ground clearance is not that high ~ 😑
Battery is fully sealed. But then again, why would risk going thru the flood? Better yet, buy the byd u8, problem solved :) @@GraveXSensei
Comparo with mg4 luxe please with atto 3
Problema ay yung karamihang isyu ng electric vehicle...sobrang mahal ng battery...yung nangyari sa canada..mas mahal pa sa sasakyan yung battery.
Let's see if the local fire department can handle EV fires. The US fire department says it takes 150, 000 liters of water to extinguish an EV fire while it takes 1,500 liters of water to extinguish an ICE vehicle. The US fire department also has a special set of personal protective equipment when dealing with EVs because the chemicals inside the batteries when burnt are cancerous.
Magkano po magastos pag replace na battery Ng car nayan
Wag mo muna isipin dahil 8yrs ang warranty and by then hindi pa depreciated
Generators on Hoth. I understood that reference. 😁
EV will take over.
Those circle thingy for the air vents and door handles is trying too hard to be different or to be futuristic.
That's like a little over a peso per kilometer in current generation charges.
This thing is more affordable (for me) and way better than a Tesla cybertruck.
I would like to test an electric vehicle in a flooded area, as floods are prevalent in the rainy seasons in the Philippines.
Pabibo lagi at takot lagi ang mga Pinoy. Surely that crossed their mind and floods are not unique to the Philippines. Laging takot ang mga pinoy why did i say that? Just look at the news. Kaya walang mangyari kc pananakot agad everytime from simple issue like jeep modernization to constitutional reforms, di muna subukan, at this point, wala na naman mawawala sa pilipinas, so experiment experiment until you get it right. Hahay
😂😅👍
Electric motors can be sealed in watertight compartments because they don’t need oxygen to burn fuel. Submarines have been using electric propulsion for over a century.
EV would pass any test gas cars could. Structures of ev are simpler and safer in all areas.
@@838WE7O6A Just watched news from the US and a well-known electric car brand caught fire after a hurricane, or possibly due to exposure to saltwater.
