I remember when my first gay friend came out to me. Me and him were on a field trip and on this bridge above the other half of the class. We were "checking out" the girls, I was telling him which ones I liked. I'd ask him "what about her? She's cute. What do you think?" and he kept going "ehhh I'm not really into her"
After a few times doing that he was like "uhh... Evan I gotta tell you something."
He looked so distressed, I thought he was gonna tell me his parents died or something. I was like oh my God what is it?
"I'm gay."
"Oh! Alright, well what about that dude. Do you think he's hot?"
He was so relieved, we laughed it off, and let me know that I have terrible taste in men.

Your relationship reminds me so much of my daughter's first BF in high school. He was handsome, popular, every girl wanted him. He and my daughter were good friends that eventually lead to dating. But after a few months, he broke up with her for no apparent reason. She tried to get him to talk to her but he just kept telling her that he was not good for her and he didn't want to hurt her. Finally after a couple weeks he wrote her a letter and told her he was going through some stuff and he couldn't be what she wanted him to be, etc. She let me read the letter and I remember thinking he might be gay. She of course said no but then after thinking about it, she thought he might be too. Finally they talked and he told her he thought he might be gay. She was very supportive and they became even closer. He knew that I knew too and was afraid I wouldn't like him anymore. I remember going up to him and giving him a big hug. I knew this kid for a long time and it was sad to watch him struggling with himself. He wanted to tell his parents but was too afraid. When he finally did tell his parents, his Dad was supportive since he suspected, but his mom was not. It took her a little while to accept everything but she eventually did. He went on to graduate from a great college, joined Up With People and is traveling the world. He is living his truth and is a happy man. He and my daughter have a great relationship like you and Haley. Sorry to be so long winded but like I said, your stories are very similar. Keep up the great workouts. I love watching them. I find it so interesting how suddenly things can become so "adult" when you are dealing with realizations like this together at such a tender age. What you have together is so genuine and special. I had a very similar experience at the same age Haley was. And I think you are exactly right, you described exactly how I felt. When you care about someone and know that you love them; you have a great time with them and love being around them, you just tend to not want to question that. I have been binge watching all of your stuff for some reason. There’s something so insane about the connection you two have. OMGOSH!! I’m so glad I found this video!! They just popped up on my feed one day, the shorts, and from the first one I was REALLY confused! I thought they were together and he didn’t know, or hadn’t come out yet. Or even worse, that she was his beard. My brother got married to a girl, and I don’t think he’s ever going to come out. I have a similar story like Haley and Caleb. In middle school I had a best friend and we both had a lot of chemistry. We always talked about the topic of us and even confessed that we had feelings for each other. Later on he then had told me he’s gay. At first I felt stupid for not listening to my other friend who told me he was gay but then realized I’m happy for him and that he felt comfortable to be himself around me. He’s my best friend till this day and I’m currently on FaceTime with him as I type this. Additionally in high school I had a group of 5 friends including myself and in our last year one of them came out as lesbian, then the other came out as pan, then the other one is bi and now I am also bi. Ps- I did not come out to my family yet but hoping to do that when I’m 18 which is in 5 months. Anyways a long storytime but just spreading love to everyone 😘💜
