- DIY: How to make a teddy bear out of pom-poms.
The number of revolutions depends on the thickness of the thread you are using. To make this Bear, I used a voluminous yarn. If you use a finer yarn, then do the most number of turns, so that the pom pon turns out fluffy.

Did you know this:
When you go to tie your pompom if you go around two times instead of one, to make your knot, it will stay tight and not be as hard to keep it tight as you go around second time to complete the knot. So take the string to tie the pompom, go around the pompom, then cross the ends, go around as usual, then go around again, and pull tight, this will stay tight, so then tie second time. Hope this makes sense to you. And hope it helps. Such a tiny thing can really help.
It will make it so much easier.

These are adorable!!! I have a white dog named Bear. I may make one of these as a Christmas decoration or to put above his leash hook. Just an idea, find little bow tie/ hair bows or barrettes in a team’s color or on a flag’s colors and glue that on to personalize.
