After you've peeled back the plastic you really need to stop and admire the screen before you turn it on because that is the cleanest that screen is ever going to be.
This helped me so much! I just got my 55" today and was worried I'd need a second person to help. You showed me i could do it on my own AND using the box as your work surface for installing the foot was handy and clever. Thank you so much for posting!!! 👑
Thank you so much for making my life that much easier! I too had to set up my new 55" solo. As a tip, I used the nylon straps attached to the box to lift the telly in order to lay it flat and to install the stand. I used the same straps to lift the telly into place. (Saw this in another video on UA-cam). You're a star!

Set-up question: do you point the remote control of the Set-Top box set from Virgin media to the TV when setting it up or do you point the TV remote to the Set-Top box from virgin media? I haven't used the IR blaster as the Set-top bx is not hidden. But when I power the TV off the Set-Top box is not responding.
Hey TV Dan , I bought LG evo 42 inches but 2 small side stands for table top which come inside the box are missing, when I told LG about this they are saying either you will get wall mounted kit or small side stands which should have already been given inside the TV box. What should I do any ideas?
Does the brightness suck near bright windows? My living room gets a lot of sunlight and am considering this but Samsung S90c seems to be what people like for brightness. I don’t want Samsung for quality control issues

How do you flick between freeview channels. Didn’t click my stand together properly to so didn’t put the side self taps in but seems in place once attached to tv 🤦🏼♂️

If I’m not mistaken the OLED55C36LC version has the swivel stand and OLED55C34LA has the standard stand. They are the two versions for sale at most retailers in the UK for a 55” model
A 6.11 you have cable retention clips and then, 7.02 anf then 7.24.. For the cable tidy. Any idea where/if I can obtain these please? They were missing when I bought mine. (Customer return)

This answer is probably too late but all other things being equal a G2 would be better than an equivalent sized C3, I would say. There was a huge leap in design from the C1 to C2 and G1 to G2 but the leap from C2/G2 to C3/G3 is not nearly as great. Whereas the leap from C to G is very significant
Is it possible my TV didn’t come with the tape on the screen? I tried to remove it from the corners but the yellow side tape that was on the corners just came off and nothing else.
Got it, just had to be brave lol. Dragged the box into my room and grabbed it out and gently set it on my bed to put the stand on. Thing feels soooo fragile compared to my Sony x950h.
It would have been really nice if you could spend some further time in the TV guide. On previous LG TVs, the live TV guide has been atrociously slow for scrolling, updating program information etc. I like everything else about LG's TVs, but their horrid live TV guide really puts me off.

Brilliant set up guide - thanks - so helpful. Ive got a soundbar is arc or e-arc the best connection for this TV.
It depends, if the soundbar is earc compatible go with that, if not just use arc. E is for enhanced audio return channel so it should be superior

sd looks lousy, so basically, these look fabulous as long as it's high quality source.
Crappy plastic tv pilot. Samsung had amazing aluminium pilot in 2016, but recently also started with cheap plastic.
