    So I see you're using angled papers. Will this work with rectangular as in a solid tube bead? I have something I want to do and think that the double hole might be interesting. I just want to make sure that my pattern doesn't get lost as it would of paper angled vs solid tube.

    I appreciate the fast delivery of these but wow do I NOT like them at all. One of the tools is crooked which if I'm buying something I expect them straight. I still enjoy your videos but this particular tool is not a keeper for me. Sigh....money down the drain for me.

    How do you make a double paper tool !!!

    • @JustPlainFun
      @JustPlainFun  Рік тому

      It involves a drill press and specially ordered dowels I have made for me. My husband and I actually drill the holes in them. I am not going to explain more because I sell them. I also have a version that has 3D printed parts. They are all available on Amazon.com.

    Hi Julie I have not heard from you yet in reference to the size of the tool because when you do your videos and you say the tool you are using and I look for the size I get confuse because I am just stating out making paper beads and I really like your videos I have brought from you various tools including the double hole tools like I said in my previous comment the sizes were 0.18 and 5.64 plus 3.32 and no 1/16 can you reply as soon as possible.

      I did reply but I guess it didn't get to you. The set of 3 does not include the 1/16". You can get it separately at: www.paperbeadcrafts.com/beadrollers/doublehole/index.shtml

      I have 1 set of 3 and it comes with sizes, 5/64, 3/32 and 1/8". I do offer the single 1/16" at my web site at: www.paperbeadcrafts.com/beadrollers/doublehole/index.shtml. The one that has the 018 is the 1/8" size, its the biggest one.

      I use PC-Petrifier for the first 4 coats and then 1 coat of Vibrance to coat my beads. I plan to make a video on how I glaze them as soon as I get more double hole beads made. I string them on a heavy fishing line, 50lb test and dip them.

    Thanks for Answering back if you don't mind where's the best places to find PC-Petrifier

    • @JustPlainFun
      @JustPlainFun  10 років тому

      I bought my PC Petrifier from Amazon.com. I have heard other people get theirs from major hardware stores or stores like Home Depot or Lowes. I actually bought a gallon from Amazon I like it so much. I was able to get it for just over $50.00 with my Amazon Prime account. Free shipping and a discount! Home Depot online had the gallon for about $89.00.

    Can you explain how to cut the paper - don't have a paper cutting machine. What are the dimensions?

    • @JustPlainFun
      @JustPlainFun  5 років тому +1

      You can cut them with scissors. The dimensions are what ever you want them to be as long as they fit on the winding pins. If you have a rotary cutter, like quilter's use, along with a ruler and cutting mat, you can use that to cut your paper. Just make sure to use an old blade and write on it with a Sharpie, paper only.

      my beads are smaller than yours.t can barely get my fingers in between the two rods.its making ill.my hands are not fat. i just dont know

    • @JustPlainFun

      The first roll is always the hardest. I have a hard time to pinch between the pins as well. I have to hold the paper between the pins together for more than 10 seconds in order for the paper to stay glued. Once the glue has dried between the pins, it gets easier with each roll. You can do it! :) I also use more than one strip of paper when rolling to make them thicker.
