It starts out like popcorn on the stove... in the microwave...
One of my earlier childhood Favourites. I had never heard anything like it before. My parenta would have had folk or swing on.
This...it had no singing! No guitars! No drums. Everything was synth! All you heard was voltage done to live. All of that was so my thing back then 🎶🙄😎
But I had absolutely no idea what or who it was. Asking my parents was pointless as "that synthetic stuff wasn't music" anyway.
It took my another 10 years or so to find out. I remember because it was in my car that a friend told me and looked at me like I was from mars for not knowing....
You'd think I'd had plenty of time to practice and really should be able to play it flawlessly... 😁🤔🎶
It's a lot fun to play (with), but hard to play proper "clean'. At least for me it is (obviously 🙄😂). It always really tempts me to "jazz" it up by elaborately extending on the chords, but I don't like the way it sounds when I do. It doesn't really work even though it's really fun to play it like that. It's an odd paradox. Unlike all those other, normal paradoxeseses....
