NOTE: Lag is terrible in 2P mode - I have no intention to post a video with modified CPU speed to counteract it (this is exactly how the game works if you're in an arcade)

The synchronization of both players is astounding! It literally looks like both are controlled by one person at times.
Simply amazing and a testament to practiced coop play indeed. I'm a professional gamer and that kind of statement isn't cheap. Completely in awe of this.
That's because they are being controlled by one person at all times :) this a TAS [tool assisted superplay] video. I'm controlling both players, inputting commands at same time, and playing/rerecording input frame by frame

Thankful for all the ports and remakes because with all the slowdown on the original arcade, I don't think I could go back to replay it without having to overclock or something to remove slowdown haha

Imagine how fucked up that would be in real life. You get kidnapped by a violent gang, two brothers fight through them all, and at the very end right before they untie you....they beat each other to death in front of you.

Only one can save Marian at the end, so that was perfect timing for the 1st player to die off at the end and was strategically played out throughout the game I concluded

Since submissions for best times on tasvideos.org are based off the last frame with input, I had to make sure either 1p or 2p was killed with the last blow [otherwise the game doesn't end... and the fight between 1p and 2p starts to decide who saves marian].
And funny side note - I was actually working on a fun battle sequence between 1p and 2p at the end... but the ROM sets I used never end the battles [something is glitched and the players won't die... even with zero health]
