I love how every hermit has a horse, Snowball is an good name. I totally understand why you don't want to go to the nether to dig the ancient stuff : D Loved the negotiation wiht Hypno about the prize of the job.
Loot tables for things like fishing are a static thing thats generated upon world generation and based on the Seed. In other words there is a set pattern for loot and everyone pulls from that same loot pattern.
Horse armor is just for looks, it has no stats, so the best armor is actually leather horse armor cause you can dye it. Jevin should give his horse armor the same colour as his blue slime
I play on bedrock and the tunnel wither kill isn’t nearly as easy as Java. That thing started tunneling upwards breaking like 8x8 chunks of deep slate as he got higher and higher. Still managed it fairly easily, but the room was much more of a mess than this was. 😂
First time seeing a Java wither fight, bedrock is so much more difficult especially on hard mode when it’s spawning in wither skeletons and everything 😂

Can you turn the outside platforms into sugarcane farms or would that mess up the spawns by allowing zombies and skeletons? Obviously 20 sugarcane per level wouldn't be enough to keep up with the gunpowder supply but I think I'd just be a neat design if you can make it work
i think you need to find a bigger pond to fish in, doesn't the new fishing rules say you need a 5x5 area of water 2 deep around the bobber for the treasure loot to be active?

I just really wish Java had the good stuff of bedrock because I might actually play it if it did because some of the straightforward mechanics of Java are better but then when it comes to less obvious mechanics bedrock is better in almost every way

why don't you guys spawn the wither in the nether and fight him there... this way you can farm some netherite at the same time and if he hits a lava pocket he probably will take damage from it too only issue could be if you are unlucky the star might burn in the lava
Wither skeletons don't actually take damage from lava, so any lava falling would be pure hazard. I remember seeing someone (Tango, I want to say?) actually try a debris-mining fight and there was that problem, and also because netherrack is so much softer than stone or deepslate, the Wither's explosions were huge, so the tunnel didn't keep it contained very well. I think that Wither may have escaped completely and turned into an open-air fight.
I don't get the obsession with fishing in Minecraft. To me, it's boring and annoying--even more than fishing irl. (Though still better than the fishing in Sonic Adventures)
I did that once and i regret every second of it. It's one of those MC things where you start... and once you pass a certain point, you can't stop anymore. You're locked on course.
I'm really enjoying all of the hermit's videos this season. All of them seems to be enjoying all the collabs just playing minecraft with friends and taking it easy.

I tried to copy the tunnel method in my bedrock family realm and ended up destroying my entire underground base I had been in for a year. Didn't realise how much harder the bedrock wither is
I went to the end and didn't sleep first because I was very confident I'd have no issues. Every end crystal was on what seemed to be all max height. I could only hit a few. Needless to say I died and have to take the long walk back to the end portal.
How do you deal with the suicidal-teleporting of the cats? I find that cats (and dogs) will randomly teleport to you when they are sitting - usually when they have been unloaded, and they load back in again they are briefly stood up before they sit again. And they will teleport into lava or something. How do you stop them from randomly teleporting away?

There is a fixed total cycle after each server reset, so it mostly depends on how much he fishes compared to the other hermits.

I just built this farm just from copying what I saw in the video and I keep getting spiders in it knocking the cats around. Did I miss something?
