There was a blonde woman who boarded a plane bound for Sydney. She had an economy class ticket. Part way through the flight, she moved to first class. One of the flight attendants saw this and said that she had to go back to her seat. Blonde said: “I’m blonde and beautiful, and staying here!!” The chief steward was notify, and she told the blonde that she had to go back to her seat, because she didn’t have the right ticket for first class. The blonde said: “I’m blonde, beautiful and I am staying right here!” The chief steward then told the pilots. First Officer said: “I’ll deal with this, because I’m married to a blonde!!” A few minutes later, blonde returned to her seat. Steward asked how he did it. First Officer said that he told her first class wasn’t going to Sydney!!

Example - I was looking for a snowblower once, and their report on them came out long after all the sales. And I had many of the brands of items that they recommend fail me. @@justthisguy1948 Possibly. I bought my E36 325i when it was 10 yeaes old, and 82,000 on the clock. For the most part, the entire drive train was bullet-proof.
At 12 years old, it had a transmission bearing go out. I had to wait 2 weeks for the part to come in from Germany. Later that year, the moon-roof motor gave out.
Also that same year, the first of at least 10 electrical shorts in the wiring occurred. Thereafter occurring once per year, to every other year. Then you're paying the man-hours for them to track down the short, every single time.
Then I needed a DS replacement tail-light assembly (straight from BMW Pats dept), which was assembled incorrectly (unbeknownst to me, until an extremely expensive mechanic diagnostic, that took them a week to figure out). BMW accepted ZERO responsibility or accountability for the cost, even though the entire cause of the issue was their flawed part.
After that, a brake freeze up & replacement.
The following year, the fuel pump died.
The year after that, both rear struts gave out.
That same year, the DS front passenger window switch died. The following year, the driver switches for the rear windows gave out.
I did the math, at one point, and all of the parts and maintenance costs involved added up to nearly HALF of what I paid for the car... never again.

We used to buy jaguars who like bmw weren't reliable first thing to do was a 350 engine swap. But now the price of a usless unreliable used car is no longer worth the price even. Garbage in garbage out manufacturing. Old saying from years ago "bmws spend more time on the back of a truck than on the road"
