This Jamie great at comboing on almost any hit that goes through. Problem is getting through Ken’s defence or not getting trapped in the momentum of Ken’s offense. Kind of scary how fast your life disappears when Jamie can hit you.

The only cool thing you Can Do is Di convert from OD palm strike or make OD breakdance+ on block, wich IS not great for a lvl2 (I don t have the move names sry)
His level 2 just feels like a mistake that they didn't have time to fix.
It should increase two lvs of drink too

That's a target combo which is only available with 4 drinks iirc. That's why it's so rare to see.
@SF6HighLevelReplays Also, it's super risky. If your opponent is in range to drive rush and run at you, they can easily punish it if they chase after you.

I actually find it annoying that these types of matches always seem to goo down too the last round. Feels like the same is designed to be so even that it's a coin flip on the last round.
Why doesn't he keep 50% of drinks to next round at least? That or let landing a throw or his supers give him a drink

Hello I'm a noob can someone explain to me why this Jamie is never going for higher drink levels than 2 ? I mean drink lvl 3 and 4 makes Jamie way stronger right ?
Jamie in this match was constantly getting pressured from Ken which made it really hard for him to get drinks in
@@dornroschen1484 Thanks for your answer. But this Jamie used Fellow Strikes a lot when he could use Fellow Kicks and get drinks for free. I guess that he did this to have more time to stay in advantage, but is staying in advantage that much more important than getting drink levels ?
yes, his rekka punch variant makes him able to recover faster allowing him to retain oki to keep pressuring. And for why it is simply Naruos playstyle favouring aggression rather than building up drinks.

Kinda sad that Capcom is the one of the last major fighting game developers to create a drunken boxer character, and said character, despite being aesthetically pleasing, also being objectively one of the worst from a gameplay perspective.
Unfortunately for Jamie, he doesn’t have the freedom to drink like Chin from KOF and Shun Di from VF do, and when he does, he has to sacrifice something or another. He doesn’t have Shun’s post-knockout drinking or both characters’ match-long drinks, having to drink up all over again per round.
Such a shame. Maybe he can be redesigned from the ground up in the game’s next season.

He defintely needs some tweaks, but I wouldn't say he's that bad. level 1,2 and 3 are all pretty significant to his gameplay and give him a lot of tools to allow him to gain huge benifits over the opponent. I'm not really sure what Capcom needs to change but the level 4 needs to be easier to acess, beacuase In most games you will never see that level activated as it's very difficult to get a drink out without getting punished. If you see level 4 in a match its becuase either the opponent was terrible, or you as a Jamie player were focusing on drinking too much, which most of the time means your probably losing, and that's bad design imo.
Some tweaks to his drinking and and how he gets drinks and I think he would be a much better character overall.
making level 4 easier to attain sounds awesome bc I love the transformed look and power but 4-drink Jamie is a top five character hands down. making that easier to get in general will be very tricky to balance. His level 2 super exists for instant level 4, but it wipes your drinks after which should be changed imo.
His drink mechanic is okay how it is but I do think his biggest weakness is reliably beating projectiles and choosing between drinks/oki. If they could tweak that a bit he would be so much better against zoners. His worst matchups are JP and Guile for me personally.
@@voodustyle Yeah like I said if your going for drinks your probably losing Oki, which in turn means your somewhat losing the game. And yeah I hate the fact that the level 2 depletes your drinks after use, makes it's usage percentage very low In game.
A change I've been thinking is instead of losing all your drinks each round, maybe they could take away 2 instead (lore wise he's getting less drunk, but he's still a little tipsy lol). That would mean if he ends the round with level 1 or 2 he would have nothing next round, if he ends the round with level 3 he would have 1 and if he ends the round with 4 he would have 2. This would probably give people more incentive to actually go for drinks each round and sacrifice Oki, because they know they will retain some drinks in later rounds.
Just let him keep half of drink after round, round up if 2 drink if you go into next round with one drink keep the one drink.
It's really rare to see Jamie drink 4 times in a round, at least make it 8 drinks for the whole game so he will have a small chance if the match goes for 3rd round.
From what I’ve seen, Naruo rarely goes above 2 drinks in most matchups, favouring aggression instead. There are other Jamie players though who prefer drinking as much as possible in each round.

不过大招后可以连招，还能推到墙边。只能说另类，差不算

I really hope in the 1st year patch that is coming to SF6 that Capcom buffs Jamie and AKI tenfold. There so much fun to play and have great potential but being "low tiers" kind holds them back.
