One thing to remember from the "We will be reunited quest" Dainsleif talks about how the abyss has an operation called "Loom Of Fate". And in this trailer Dainsleif talks about how the "threads of all fate will be yours to reweave" I'm thinking the abyss will complete their "Loom Of Fate", and the traveler will use it to make some big changes to Teyvat somehow. I think the "rules of war are woven in the womb" line is also related. Meaning who lives and dies in war is determined by fate.
Actually, yes. All abyssal scribblings are actually in Latin. Just like text written in common Teyvat script is actually in English. You can find the alphabets for them online, and use them to decipher a lot of texts found in the game. The Snezhnaya chapter subtitle wasn't translated too well. A better translation (which I found on Reddit) would be "The Queen will lead us to glory that no one else can hope to attain." Even the spellbook of the abyss lector has Latin text on its pages. Oh mannnnn the story trailer!! Something I made a note of when I rewatched it recently is that so far in our travels we have met people from every nation EXCEPT Natlan. It is by far the most mysterious nation in this part of the story. We've learned a lot about Fontaine particularly through the latest event quests. We've learned from one Inazuman NPC that Natlan is very hot 🙃 Do you follow any genshin lore content creators? A lot of them provide info recaps!
Seeing as Pyro is like my fav element (aside from geo bc I’m loyal to my lord and savior the one and oni itto) I am most excited to go to Natlan and meet the pyro archon 😈🔥 Oh actually I’ve seen a few videos, but have avoided them mostly to avoid spoilers thus far! But now that I have finished the quests I wanna look into those channels for sure!! Let me know if you recommend anyone! 😊
There are so many interesting characters in this game but really the person we know least about is the traveller, we have so many questions about what they are and where they can from and they have all the answer yet they just never share. I can't wait for the sea of flowers at the end so we can finally learn what this all really meant to them. I really enjoyed this video and would love to know if you also prepared one for the harbinger trailer or if you haven't seen it yet
This is so true!! The traveler is such a mystery because even though they are our MC, they’re the ones we technically know the least about! And yes I am insanely curious about the sea of flowers too, like what does it all mean ?! 🧐 I actually have already seen the harbinger trailer (a very excited friend of mine sent it to me when it was released and wanted to watch it with me) so it wouldn’t be a blind reaction, but I could do a video where I talk about it and discuss my thoughts on it if you would like!

9:26 - this is getting into much deeper lore than what just playing the game will give you; you have to actually read the collectible archive material to understand it. But a simplified version is: the *Archons* (Barbatos, Morax, etc) are lesser gods, subject to a lot of the same rules and restrictions that us mortals are (for example, part of Zhongli's reason for retiring is that he's been around so long, he worries that he might be going a godly version of dementia; play through his second story quest to see the consequences of that) and mostly serve as "administrators" over their chosen realm with the goal of keeping humanity in line (the concept of "arrogation" keeps coming up), while there are greater gods above them that don't directly get involved unless they want to fuck something up (see: Khaenri'ah, Dragonspine, etc, and the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles may also be one of these "upper" gods).

Venti says that just because Dvalin shouldn't listen to the Abyss Order doesn't mean that he should listen to Venti. Dvalin has the freedom to make his own choices because Venti (a god) doesn't demand him to do anything.
That's true, but I think that line asks whether there are consequences when a god takes that position. Dvalin being left 'free' also left him alone to fall to the Abyss Order's schemes. The Archons sit between the mortals and Celestia, what's not being attended to while Venti sings and drinks? What power do the Gnoses hold, that the Archons we've met don't seem to be aware of? What will it cost Teyvat that 3 have already been taken?
I meant more that I wonder how this theme of the cost of freedom will continue to play into future aspects of the story! Freedom is a huge underlying theme circling the traveler’s journey through Teyvat, so I was wondering how this line will continue to haunt us haha !! Each character shown here are the one who involves us in the bigger picture like diluc started the whole ordeal for saving dvalin while ningguang informed us about archon war n to be wary of childe, sent us to the sigil of permission site... Ayaka IS the reason we got involved... So i assume that these characters are the reason for us to be invovled in the bigger picture .........

But having played through all current story content, some elements hit differently; for example that field of white 5-petaled flowers around Aether and Lumine at 1:01... remember those when you play through the Chasm archon quest.

All the lines (so far) are references to that story. Venti basically says that line about freedom isn't freedom if it's ordered. Zhongli refers to his deal with the Tsaritsa as the contract to end all contracts. Inazuma is all about Raidens definition of eternity vs the people definition.
I'm not super into lore but it's still really interesting stuff. There's so much to take into consideration too. Like Time-the God Istaroth who helped Makoto with her plane of euthymia and the Sakura tree seed thing. Venti is also connected to that God, plus his statue is the one that the Abyss used for the We Will Be Reunited quest. So I do agree he's a huge piece in the story. 🤔 The ancient civilizations that got ruined too. And the one in the chasm is upside down?? like whats up w that 😭 what was also up w that weird space that Xiao and the others fell into that could read into their memories and stuff. Also....WHAT EXACTLY IS PAIMON? So many questions and no answers 😭

Time for Fun Facts about the Gods: So far Every Archon is based off a character from Honkai Impact. Venti = Genderbend Wendy Zhongli = Genderbend Fu Hua or Welt (can be argued for both really( Raiden Shogun = Raiden Mei Dendro Archon = Theresa Hydro Archon = There isn't a Hydro character in Honkai Impact people believe it may be Seele but unsure. Pyro Archon = I it s very very likely it is based of Himeko Cryo Archon = Likely based of Bronya because she use ice element and she is Russian Also Every God we met so far, not just archon, are named after demons in the lesser key of Solomon. This includes Paimon. Also rewatch the Battlepass video. Now that you watch the Storyline. It may bring up some theories in your mind.

Saw this earlier and could not comment before. Let's watch. First off, I think the seven divine treasures refer to the Gnosis. The prize won by each god in the archon wars. Some speculate that this is some sort of time loop or at the very least history is repeating itself. It's why the unknown god captured the two siblings. The missing sibling went first and fell to darkness. (Possibly a butterfly effect) Now the Traveler makes the same journey. The proof is in several events but also the fact that several characters have very advanced knowledge of the situation yet are vague to prevent a potential paradox. Or it could be just a bunch of crazy shenanigans. But either way, I am very eager to visit Sumeru.

14:02 oh yeah thats interesting, Zhongli definitely didnt do that in the Liyue archon quest but Morax definitely did slaughter countless gods during the archon war. very odd how thats the only line so far that wasnt shown in the main story arcs.

im not too sure about ayaka being the character shown for inazuma. while one could say she had a part in inazuma chapter, i feel kazuha had more of a pivotal role in the huge change to the region, meeting the traveler and triggering change after finally being able to parry the raiden shogun. Meanwhile we saw ayaka....dance? I mean sure she helped from the shadows by having thoma meet and assist traveler but then what else? I just feel kazuha was still a bit more involved in the whole change than any other inazuma character.
This is a valid point! I think they have it as Ayaka solely because she was the one who convinced the traveler to get involved in the resistance in the first place! I agree that yes, thematically, Kazuha has more long term weight on the story, but I’m pretty sure they feature Ayaka because she pulled the traveler into the vision decree mess in the first place haha. She was the hook! 😊

FYI: DIVINE here is mean to be the GOD from CALESTIA, and past battle here is refering to Real Calestia vs The Second who came (this lore from enkanomiya when the real calestia still have the PRIMODIAL ONE and guide mankind, while Calestia right now destroy civilisation, kaenriah, dragonspine, tsurumi islan, and chasm. So we can asume calestia right now is FAKE or no longger the original calestia)

I don't know if anyone talk about it, but you need to remember that Dains DON'T LIKE THE GODS! AT ALL! In this this trailer ALL that we have is his doubts about the divine. If it's correct OR not, only US the players shall decide. Like Venti say: "The adventure have meaning by itself."

I think when Dain mentions the "divine" he is referring to Celestia. I also suspect that the person Dain wants to save isn't the "Abyss sibling" as that is just way to obvious. I suspect it may be the progenitor god or one of their shades. It could also be that he is referring the Gold. Though the line about the flowers is certainly referring the abyss sibling. I just think the previous line is a red herring. As for the war just being a continuation of past battles, I think it is referring to the other ancient civilizations that were snuffed out or imprisoned by Celestia even prior to Khaenri'ah Ironically enough, the Tsaritsa is the god of love in the way Zhongli is the god of contracts. Love should be her primary motivation. Lastly, I like that your 1 hour Rex incognito in the recommend feed is already watched all the way through, haha.

Just to avoid confusion, Lumine and Aether are both canon. Mihoyo uses Aether mainly as the poster boy for continuation reasons. I can only tell three things about Genshin lore: is either deppresive, whiplash and give more questions than answers.

All the lines (so far) are references to that story. Venti basically says that line about freedom isn't freedom if it's ordered. Zhongli refers to his deal with the Tsaritsa as the contract to end all contracts. Inazuma is all about Raidens definition of eternity vs the people definition.

Everytime I watch the Travail video I feel things. Lots of things.
I'm not super into lore but it's still really interesting stuff. There's so much to take into consideration too. Like Time-the God Istaroth who helped Makoto with her plane of euthymia and the Sakura tree seed thing. Venti is also connected to that God, plus his statue is the one that the Abyss used for the We Will Be Reunited quest. So I do agree he's a huge piece in the story. 🤔
The ancient civilizations that got ruined too. And the one in the chasm is upside down?? like whats up w that 😭 what was also up w that weird space that Xiao and the others fell into that could read into their memories and stuff.

So far Every Archon is based off a character from Honkai Impact.
Venti = Genderbend Wendy
Zhongli = Genderbend Fu Hua or Welt (can be argued for both really(
Raiden Shogun = Raiden Mei
Dendro Archon = Theresa
Hydro Archon = There isn't a Hydro character in Honkai Impact people believe it may be Seele but unsure.
Pyro Archon = I it s very very likely it is based of Himeko
Cryo Archon = Likely based of Bronya because she use ice element and she is Russian
Also Every God we met so far, not just archon, are named after demons in the lesser key of Solomon. This includes Paimon.
Also rewatch the Battlepass video. Now that you watch the Storyline. It may bring up some theories in your mind.

You mention the size of the pre-download for 3.0; if space is a concern, you can always delete the game during maintenance and download it fresh with the update. A lot of old files are always removed with each patch

Saw this earlier and could not comment before. Let's watch. First off, I think the seven divine treasures refer to the Gnosis. The prize won by each god in the archon wars.
Some speculate that this is some sort of time loop or at the very least history is repeating itself. It's why the unknown god captured the two siblings. The missing sibling went first and fell to darkness. (Possibly a butterfly effect) Now the Traveler makes the same journey. The proof is in several events but also the fact that several characters have very advanced knowledge of the situation yet are vague to prevent a potential paradox.
Or it could be just a bunch of crazy shenanigans. But either way, I am very eager to visit Sumeru.

im not too sure about ayaka being the character shown for inazuma. while one could say she had a part in inazuma chapter, i feel kazuha had more of a pivotal role in the huge change to the region, meeting the traveler and triggering change after finally being able to parry the raiden shogun. Meanwhile we saw ayaka....dance? I mean sure she helped from the shadows by having thoma meet and assist traveler but then what else? I just feel kazuha was still a bit more involved in the whole change than any other inazuma character.
This is a valid point! I think they have it as Ayaka solely because she was the one who convinced the traveler to get involved in the resistance in the first place! I agree that yes, thematically, Kazuha has more long term weight on the story, but I’m pretty sure they feature Ayaka because she pulled the traveler into the vision decree mess in the first place haha. She was the hook! 😊

@@pixelfay Not strictly necessary. I started in 2.3 and played through the event. It wasn't a big deal, but playing Eula's and Bennett's content later on where they're like "we've never met before" had me going "what do you mean? We were in Dragonspine together" - that's all.
FYI: DIVINE here is mean to be the GOD from CALESTIA, and past battle here is refering to Real Calestia vs The Second who came (this lore from enkanomiya when the real calestia still have the PRIMODIAL ONE and guide mankind, while Calestia right now destroy civilisation, kaenriah, dragonspine, tsurumi islan, and chasm. So we can asume calestia right now is FAKE or no longger the original calestia)

In this this trailer ALL that we have is his doubts about the divine. If it's correct OR not, only US the players shall decide. Like Venti say: "The adventure have meaning by itself."

I think when Dain mentions the "divine" he is referring to Celestia. I also suspect that the person Dain wants to save isn't the "Abyss sibling" as that is just way to obvious. I suspect it may be the progenitor god or one of their shades. It could also be that he is referring the Gold. Though the line about the flowers is certainly referring the abyss sibling. I just think the previous line is a red herring.
As for the war just being a continuation of past battles, I think it is referring to the other ancient civilizations that were snuffed out or imprisoned by Celestia even prior to Khaenri'ah
Ironically enough, the Tsaritsa is the god of love in the way Zhongli is the god of contracts. Love should be her primary motivation.

Just to avoid confusion, Lumine and Aether are both canon. Mihoyo uses Aether mainly as the poster boy for continuation reasons.
