@@nawdeepgoyal1070 OK sorry if I was rude. My point was South India is generalized as the South which is a geographical term. There are 5 different states and she said she's from Bangalore which is in Karnataka. If some one said they're from Mumbai you wouldn't generalise as they are from the North would you? It's my pet peeve, why don't Indians not know about their own country?
@blue sky Generalization is not a problem ignorance is. I would agree with you that sometimes people tend to be ignorant and doesn't realise that south india isn't one entity.
But I purposely wanted to generalize it as a bundle rather than writing each state name because not just her, I have seen many people from various parts of south india sings so well.
Before schooling someone else have you ever thought that may be problem lies in you that you take everything negatively?? Btw I make maps for living so I tend to believe that I know better geography than you. No offense 🙂
I m not wrong yar ""candidates from South India and Bengal have a special quality in thier voice..even thier mother tongue is not hindi .....it is a topic of research ..all the singer mostly from these areas can sing hindi song perfectly... surprised
their mode of music is mostly carnatic vocals which is insanely difficult and broad, gamakas and all is there which very deep it builds voice and makes throat strong !
