You don’t owe us an apology for taking care of yourself. I personally am very grateful you did. Yes you should add the $2! And use the ding ding ding stickers on the two days you missed😊. My dad started the tradition of having filet mignon for Christmas 🎄
When I was growing up my made homemade ravioli. We always had this at Christmas. When my dad was in the Navy, he got invited home to a buddy’s home in Philadelphia. When my parents married after the war, he told my mom about the raviolis he had at the buddy’s home and my mom searched recipes in cookbooks at the library until she found one that sounded like what he described. She started making this at Christmas back in the 50s. Always loved this story, and there is nothing as good as homemade pasta!❤
Smiling here, all the Italian foods my Mom would have had in Queens. I was the black sheep from the West Coast....but was and still am in awe of my New York family and traditions. Thank you Donna! Merry Christmas to you and yours! ETA: We do a Spiral Ham on Christmas.
I have about a doze pair of those socks lol. I change into them as soon as I get home. I like to be cozy and warm. I have a weighted heated blanket for my recliner. We got down to negative 3 here and boy does it bite into the skin. I cannot wait to see the end of the month video. I'm so excited for you!! Mommas getting that roof funded!!!
Our holidays, Nov and Dec are the same except one thing. We have turkey for Thanksgiving and ham for Christmas. Sweet potatoes with marshmallows, green beans. stuffing, cottage cheese, olives, and rolls.
Hi Donna 👋 So excited Andra is joining you and your family for the Holiday!🤶🎅🎄. I am happy you listened to your body and took the time you needed!❤❤ I personally don't think you need to add the extra $1 for the challenge completion, however- not bad if you do I could also live in the bush....Char not so much😂 Our main course for Christmas dinner is Turkey🦃🎄
Ham is our main course, but I want to experience an Italian feast. You always make me hungry when you talk about your family's. I don't know what most of it is, but it sounds amazing. Lol Merry Christmas to you & your family❤
We usually have baked ham and all the trimmings and this year my husband will be cooking Prime Rib (yeah !). Everybody brings a side dish and all help with the clean up.
Good morning. It’s hard not to overdo it during the holidays so I can see how you did that, but shouldn’t have lol. It’s still unreal how Christmas Eve is tomorrow!! 🙀. My main course is ham. My favorite thing though is macaroni salad!! I could live on that stuff but only have it at Christmas time. I like it a special way and make my own, it can’t be store bought etc. I hope you continue to enjoy your holiday season, have a good day 🎄🎅🏻🌸
I am happy to hear that you took some time to yourself. Our main course is ham, and it is the only time of the year that I make it since it is not my favorite. I have also done prime rib in the past, which was fun. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
We're having a beef tenderloin and for the vegetarians, we're having salmon. Along with it..mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, corn, and for dessert a yule log...😋😋😋
Growing up my dad would take us out for Chinese food on Christmas Day! Since then, I make a lot of Asian food leading up to the big day and then we have steak or ham with all the fixings 😂.
