Man.. this is what true fragrance love is all about! I would never have imagined that about 15 months ago my casual peaked interest in fragrance to smell good for the ladies , would turn into a love for the esoteric classics. I literally was getting back in the gym and into bodybuilding and wanted something a little better than body sprays for the gym. Now look at me? All my money that used to go to ummm,let's call them " special bodybuilding vitamins" now goes to classic perfume. I even wear Shalimar and I'm a big buff dude. Lol. All because of discovering your channel. From you I discovered Kouros (and the need to buy the vintage) Lapidus pour homme, Furyo, geurlain vetiver and Shalimar, opium for women,and the concept of being open minded enough to rock classic women's fragrances. Bogart Fragrances. And so many more. Keep up the great work Rams!

Choya Luban is from Indian attars.
Destructive distilled (with out water) Indian frankincense. Sticky and smoky goodness. Another similar one is Choya Nakh which is Destructive distillation of seashells. Salty and smoky.
False sandalwood is probably muhuhu wood oil that has an amazing dry Woody character similar to sandalwood with out warm creaminess and sweetness.

I have heard of Muhuhu wood before but didnt realize it was called false sandalwood... yes you are spot on regarding giftd increasing the bond and love between us... although I would say this channel & its viewers are pretty dang tight compared to many other channels lol 🤝🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Kyara wood is another name for Kinam agarwood. Pretty bold statement as a note or ingredient. Unfortunately most brands listing it not go in to much details. Is it wild kinam? Farmed? Oil? Tincture? What type and grade because tiny details like that makes a huge difference. For instance farmed kinam oud wood chips can cost from 10 000 $ up per kg and wild kinam starts from 500 000 $ kg up to infinity based on type, aroma, size and shape...

Wow Rams , Isn’t Rachel such a sweetheart,honestly I never met ,nor do I know her, but I’m willing to bet she one of those rare and extraordinary people,that if anyone is lucky enough to befriend her it can do nothing but enhance their own life and outlook in general. Positive and genuine friends are rarer than any perfume or commodity on God’s green earth sadly these days. Oesel is nice vintage style bitter green herbal powdery soapy floral. This was my favorite from around 20+ Xerjoff samples that I tried.

Eagerly waiting for your take specially on HJ..I was lucky to try few of them at their Dubai boutique & even liked couple of it..however they refused to take my kidney for a 15 ml oil..so transaction could not be completed..on a serious note they all smelled great but seemed very familiar, very vintage..could have been a good addition but not at that price….I also like to see you smelling Lover’s tale by Francesca Bianchi - my favourite from the house..to me it’s more wearable version of Oud Infini when you consider only the animalic funk…SOTD is Mogao from PRYN…another great house..
Only did an early impression on one PRIN and I was not a fan... its uploaded on my channel... never smelled lovers tale but I will put it on my to sniff list & I cant wait to try those HJ frags either... thanks to my perfume fairy God person if you are reading this 🧚♀️😊

I bought my wife the Henry Jacques musk in the spray version of the oil.
Spray version is more my thing... But I have never smelled an attar so maybe I will love it 🤷♂️
@@RamseytheRam Henry Jacques has a boutique in California. Opened a year ago. My first encounter was Snow Rose from The Perfumed House in Portland 2012. Paris boutique sent me 12 vials. The spray versions are awesome. Samples even when empty last for a few years scent wise. Love to hear take on them.

Iris Silver Mist is a masterpiece. Thee spookiest, coldest fragrance I have ever smelled! I always say it but ... if Vlad The Impaler had a Signature Scent, Iris Silver Mist would be it. Another Maurice Roucel tour de force. // SO Many G00dies!!! w(*)W!! I'd love to play with all of those beauties! // Jean-Louis Scherrer scents are spectacular! ... and one heck of a buy. Shh, don't tell anyone! ;) // BTW, have you ever smelled Crabtree & Evelyn Extract of Mysore Sandalwood? ... one of the finest scents ever done. Have loved it (almost) my entire lifetime.

Xerjoff Oesel is the closest thing to JPG Fleur du Male. An example of the criticism of Xerjoff of being a clone brand or designer fragrances with better ingredients. I got JPG FdM for a good price, if not would probably bought Oesel.
