I've been divorced for 5 years now and I pray to be married again so right now I want to do a 21 challenge with God. This is teaching me how to love on God in preparation for my husband and at the same time rekindling the fire for God. As Tina was talking about Teddy and how steady he is it made me think about how God is with me. God is so patient with me especially when I'm all over the place in my emotions and He allows me to be me even when I don't undersrand me. God is so patient and gentle with me. This 21 challenge is such a blessing and I am so grateful for you Teddy and Tina!!! You both show the love of God and it shows how y'all genuinely feel about each other and God!! Tina thank you for staying and Teddy thank you for not giving up. I love you guys dearly and I love what God is doing. Ya'll thank you for leading by example. Beat my wife to this one - here are my final 7! 15. I love how much my wife takes care of the physical things we have. Even when we rented, my wife wanted us to take care of the house, the lawn, everything. She doesn't like things to get broken and doesn't like to throw things away. 16. I love how much my wife loves our children. She cares so much for their well-being and their walk with God, I am certain that they will do well in life just because of her. 17. I love how loyal my wife is. In the beginning of our relationship there was some infidelity on my part, and I had major trust issues with my wife because I had been hurt badly before (ironic considering I also committed the same hurt). Because of how my wife is I have been able to feel free in our relationship as we build our life together, without worrying that she will run off. My wife is dedicated to our marriage and I love that she values it as much as she does. 18. I love how sensitive my wife's senses are. My wife has a great ear for music, great nose for scents, and great taste for flavors. I can pretty much run any music, smells, or foods past her to get an expert's opinion on how good it is. 19. I love my wife's sense of decor. My wife is really keen on matching colors, placing pictures, placing artwork, furniture - you name it. We have a beautiful interior because of it, and it gets better and better without ever getting cluttered. 20. I love that my wife is relentless with trying to improve herself. My wife truly compares herself, not with any person on earth, but with the Perfect One. She is always improving and life keeps getting better as a result of it with age. It makes life so enjoyable to know that it will be even better in the future than it ever has been thus far. 21. I love that my wife treats me like the head of the household. It allows me to live my role as the man of the house, even when I am not perfect and make mistakes. God placed my wife strategically in my life to help me fulfill my potential and make me into the man I am today and the man I am supposed to be in the future, and there is nobody I could love more than my wife for having such a direct impact on my walk with God!
Aww thank you Pierre! Thank you for reminding me that we didn’t do that last seven. I wanna say that I prefer to donate than throw things away. I am assuming that is what you meant. 😄 ok 1. I love that Pierre loves travel as much as I do. For our family it isn’t a luxury it’s a necessity and Pierre will always make it happen. 2. I love how he sees me. Lord knows I’m flawed and constantly striving to get it right everyday, but my husband doesn’t see my flaws or chooses not to highlight them. Either way I’ll take it! 3. This is kinda like number 2 but I love how there beauty in most things to him. He can see a old dilapidated house and make me see the beauty in it by imagining the memories that must have existed, and faintly hearing the putter patter of the little feet of the kids that must of lived there over a 100 years ago. 4. He needs for perfection or doing things right is also highly attractive. He will research something and learn all about it and have whatever he’s working on done to perfection. 5. I love sleeping with Pierre. That may seem standard for majority of couples but for us it started out that way but it quickly changed into sleeping in two separate areas, due to different bed times and different needs for sleep. He needs it quiet and dark. My mind is busy when it’s too still, and I won’t sleep, I’ll talk about all the things I need to do or did do or should have done you name it. So I need an episode of some old feel good show like “highway to heaven” or something that reminds me of yesteryear going on to fall asleep to. But Occasionally we will end up together and it’s nice when it happens. 6. I love that he can’t sing or dance but he tries. He is well aware that when black people say “go Pierre, go Pierre” that they are expecting him to not be able to dance and they will get a good laugh. He lives right into their expectations and is just happy he put a smile on their faces. The other day we decided to listen to “21” and try and remember the lyrics and sing over the instrumental. It was hilarious and fun. 7. I love that he gave our Children good genetics. They are so beautiful and smart. I have one more!! I’m not sure if I said this but I absolutely love how much Pierre loves God. He is slowly becoming unrecognizable to the people who has always known him as he moves away from the world and be transformed into who God wants him to be. (Romans 12:2) and I love it!
