I've had situations where bystanders mistook horns on FWR for power tools or fans. In that case, I've actually made recommendations to install a filtered power booster.

Tampers are always fun
Not really because you can get caught at some point of pulling the fire alarm in public
@@ZacharyHappy366 Not that kind of tamper.

Shoot. They went with an unfiltered Fire Warden panel. I’m surprised those horns aren’t dead.
It’s not really the horns that are the problem, the strobes (what I have heard) die on FWR. The horns do good.
Right right right. It was the strobes.
Awesome, we got some Mechanical 4903 horn/strobes.
Awesome fwr love it, also at 0:59 why did a tamper set the alarms off??
Cause it was in walk test. Usually only does this to let you know the hit came in.
They should’ve put in a FCPS in but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s like a lot of Replacement A/Vs
Nope all horns are original

Why do you key activate the Bosch station but not the 2099s
the bosch pull station had a glass breakrod in it which would’ve been a mess to clean up if he pulled it.
Crazy awesome vid! 👍
They should have put a 4010 or 4100es in there

And by the way his company doesn't stock any Simplex equipment, only Honeywell
My dads works has a addressable fire alarm panel and pull stations but the alarms are older 90's alarm like 4903's and 2901-9838's.
why Bosch and simplex 🤦🏻♂️
Well the Bosch Pull Station was a replacement device. That probably replaced a 2099. The panel is a Notifier NFW2-100
@@SomeDudeWithAnExitSign ah okay, never knew that until now, thanks for responding.
FWR is bad for these devices, but awesome video!
Wdym?
@@animatronicspizza880Well, FWR makes a lot of horns sound raspy especially with Simplex, because Simplex devices don't like FWR.
@@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554 bruh I asked this a year ago
Thank you for replying though lmao
To me it would not matter if they're on fwr. As long as the horns sound and the strobe flashes. I'd be fine.
Here's the thing. 4903s strobes are known to die on FWR.

There supposed to be loud what do you expect
nice video, but sad that these are running on FWR
9219 or 9217 they sound more like 9217s
The 9219 and 9217 have the same horn. The only difference between the 9219 and the 9217 is the strobe brightness and that’s it.

Those horns sound very bad..
The panel is FWR, that's why the horns sound awful.
