I got lucky. Bought 2 angel fish about 2 years ago. They paired off after a month and started laying eggs within the year. Now I’m ready to breed them. Waiting for the eggs to hatch
Can you tell me how to setup angelfish tank? For breeding my male kept on poking female and female is always hiding behind the slate which I put in for laying eggs? So can you tell me this behaviour

Quick question pls: do they breed or lay eggs in cave? Because my tank has some plants and a small hollow mountain-cave that I made by glueing pieces of rock together. And I noticed that just this morning a pair of them seem to have taken the spot inside it.
@@bettabai1551 the guy that made the video is using a heater in his regular tank but no heater in the jar. It's very problematic when people leave details like this out of the video.
once the eggs are laid in the main tank, when you take the tile out, can the eggs be exposed to air or must you put a container in the tank to fill it with water and then put the tile in the container?
I am facing a problem, my wigglers are dyeing after they hatch.. I am using MBlue .. My question is when to change the water of the hatching tank? some people say change it on the 2nd day of the eggs.. some say dont change the water, I have tried both but no success. If i dont change the water starts smelling bad.. People als say to remove Mblue from the tank before the eggs hatch.. Please guide me if you can ... specifically on methylene blue and water changes...
Ok, so I just left a bunch of questions that you just answered... on another video. So please disregard. Lol (and yes, I've seen this video before already, I just didn't have the same questions as before 😅) I have a follow-up question... In another video, you suggested using only a 40g because then you never have to move rhe fry? Just use low water level, then increase the water level as they get older? I might not have remembered that *exactly right... but anyways, would love to hear an update! What's your fave tank size to grow up the fry after the breeder box now?
if I'll let take care the pair of their fry and here comes another batch of eggs laid, what will happen? can I just let the eggs hatch? will it not disturb the breeding or will it endanger the free swimming fry?
my baby angelfish are dying what's the reason. it goes round and round. should i change water or use medicine like mala green or other any suggestions please.
I have a breeding pair. They have laid several batches of eggs, but none ever survive. I have tried to leave the fry with the parents. And I have tried scooping up the fry and putting him into a breeding net or breeding cage if you will. Neither way has ever mounted to a survival. Both ways they have died or eaten. I have baby brine shrimp. I do not know why these baby fry are continuing to die. Any suggestions?
I got soonlucky got 6 angels and ended up with 3 pairs I couldn't believe it. Got a platinum and black marble pair, normal striped fish and koi pair, and another pair both koi
Wonderful, concise video. Many thanks. Which variety of angelfish in your experience are easiest to breed and make the most solicitous parents? I’m not an experienced aquarist and want to load the dice in my favour. Cheers
Dear brother , my water tds is 270 . Tank size 36"L, 17"w, 18" H . My parent angel fish pair lays egg but I get 5% fry due to hardness of water. After they lay egg , if I replace the egg in to RO water will they hatch?
In my experience they're generally only semi-aggressive at most if the other fish are peaceful community fish. As long as you give them plenty of space (horizontal space with hiding spots as well as vertical height to establish zones), other fish know/learn to keep away or gently pass by, and also as long as another fish/snail/frog/etc aren't trying to bother the angels or their eggs/fry (e.g. other aggressive fish, even smaller ones), they won't react with hostility. But also make sure the water parameters are good because a stressed out angelfish will tend to be more hostile.
So when the eggs are hatched, I have to take the eggs and put them in the breeding tank. Let the little ones go out there, grow up and then let them in the big aquarium ... So, since the hatching of the eggs should be separated from the parents and all the fish in the aquarium ..?

Hello friend. At minute 6:24, where you have the fish in that glass jar. Do you change the water for them? And the other question is, if you don't feed them during that certain lapse? Greetings.
Iv had no luck with angelfish man. I got over 20 in the last year and only one survived. One was killed but the rest died after the first 24-72 hours. My water test great I stopped feeding as much I don’t get it. Dempsey is my only one who hasn’t passed. I even went back to the same place. I did notice he doesn’t like white angel fish tho. 😭😭😭 he’s the best but I want him to have buddies anyone have tips Iv watched over 300 hours of videos to educate myself and still no luck.
I don't want them to breed. But about every three - five weeks I have egg clutches. The only time they're aggro is when they have eggs. And they bite me. I don't mind the bite but what I mind is they go fulllllll force into the glass wall or into the vacuum. And I'm afraid they're gonna break their beak. How can I slow down their hormones? I hate stressing them out taking the eggs away. I hate them stressing each other out over who is getting to close. I hate how they ram their pretty faces into each other. They're usually social docile sweet. Funny even. But not around their eggs

It depends on conditions and the fertility of the fish you are breeding. I think I lost eggs because I didn't use air pump 🤷🏻♀️ and I have really young fish
Thanks!

During the six days in the jar - do you change the water and if so - at what stage and how often?
Thank you sir, most knowledgeable info I have found yet.
Question: When the eggs are in the jar, do you do water change before the hatch? and is it recommanded to add an air stone?
Hi Sam, I have the same question.... do you find something about it?
Is it ok to have some corydoras in with a breeding pair pf Angelic Fish?
Not the breeding pair but in with the fry. It makes them start swimming instead of lying on the bottom.
Awesome information, thanks bro.
Will differt kinds of angles mix breed with other angles or do you the same kind to pair

Can you pour the jar water with the methlyne blue into the tank? Should you try to scope the free swimming fry with a net?
Where will we put all those babies if we have a small tank?
When you put the eggs in the jar, do they not need a heater or do you just live in a warm area?
Put heater man if you live in a cold place
