Different languages work with different phonemes, and this lead to native speakers of certain languages being unskilled on almost unable to use phonemes present in other languages. You can say it flawlessly because you aren't saying it the way a native speaker would. The easiest ones to compare would probably be Japanese (suh-teh-buh) and Spanish (ehs-teh-veh)
@@purpledevilr7463 but that would also mean that most species would not be able to speak galactic standard as different species will have different vocal cord structures and might not be able to emulate the same phonemes. galactic standard would more likely be composed only of phonemes that the larges number of vocal structures can emulate.
You should protect primitives from what for them are Out of Context Problems, such as dinosaur killers. Particularly if you can do it without being seen.
The only problem with this story is that there can’t be a googol of humans. There aren’t even a googol of atoms in the observable universe. So you could use trillion but that’s about the highest it’s gone be within the story. Especially when humanity has only seen like 3 galaxies.
Which 3 galaxies are you thinking of? Milky Way. Andromeda. Sombrero. Cartwheel. Sunflower. Black Eye. Whirlpool. Triangulum. Cigar. Tadpole. Comet. Pinwheel. Mice. Centaurus A. Malin Cosmos Redshift 7. (and a whole slew of numbered ones)
You're assuming the humans are all alive at once. How do you know they're not in communication with their remote descendants from the far distant future, roughly 10^100 years ahead, when the last of the black holes will be evaporating?
There's a estimated 100,000,000,000 stars and 10% are G type with a estimated 500 million inhabitable planets in our galaxy. Then there's Dyson spheres that have 500,000,000 the surface area of Earth and they don't require G type stars, plus Dyson swarms etc to increase living space let alone expanding into parallel dimensions. It's doable when your talking a Level III civilization. Type III civilizations make the Pre Cursers and Founders in Halo look like a steam powered civilizations.
Tou get a thumbs up for the creative use of "Chocolate Starfish" alone haha
For the Author(s), for the narrator Agro Squirrel, for the algorithm !!!
There a " BABYLON 5 " Feeling here.
Nice!
that first ever expansion.. the death of the worlds on their galaxy.. how must they have wept? i cannot imagine the shame.
Hang on, how can you say Steve in another language? It’s a name, I can say Steve flawlessly in every language.

@@braxat52 but surly a galactic standard would have every different possible sound you could make in it thus every name being perfect.

@@henrypaleveda7760 That’s an excellent point, yeah I guess it is perfect then.
