@@philipbrugger very true! I have always wanted to paragliding. Maybe one of these days whe we r back again in austria or switzerland, i do it with my son. I dont allow my hubby anymore sincd hé fell on a parachute in his younger days. Lol hé had his time! Now it is ours!
this was just while handling up the slope. there were lots of small tree limbs that got tangled easily into the lines. but before I took off I shaked out all of them ;)
there will be better days ;-) nice video nevertheless. btw..one question: how does it pack the sigma 11 on a tight backpack for hike and fly? any problems with the rods or similar?
Thank you :) This weekend there is another competition, maybe I feel better there ;) The Sigma 11 fits good into thight backpack for hike and fly. It has rods on the leading edge only. So you can pack it in what ever shape you need it. I can fit my weightless and the sigma 11(size22) into a 50L backpack. But 55~60L work easier
Well done buddy, like watching your videos. Just received my sigma 11 this morning, much better to pack now it doesn't have the c rods. How do you compare it to the previous /10. Would be interested in your opinion as know you've flown both.? Good luck on your next adventure.
I also like the fact that there are no c rods. That makes it easy to pack. Compared to the Sigma 10 it is slightly softer and gives you more feedback on what is going on in the air. That also makes the wing safer imo. It is also lighter than the old one. Take off and handling is very easy and nice.
Tolles Video. Sehr authentisch. Das nächste läuft's wieder besser. Lg, Rue

@@philipbrugger how do you compare the S11 with the previous S10 in terms of thermalling and staying up in weak lift?
