Is SSIS still relevant in 2023, what are some of the big companies that hire ssis developers. Also what do you think is the next step after learning SSIS
I am working on SSIS since 2010. And for data migration SSIS is one of the widely used tool so far. I am not sure what big companies are hiring SSIS developer as I have not looked for open positions on SSIS for a very long time. After learning SSIS maybe you can learn Azure data factory and Power BI.
@@izenish full time in some companies you can do it all from backend where you will have to collect data usind ssis, create tabular, multi dimension in sass, modeling data and ssrs. You will also work as a bi data analyst in frontend making sure people a getting data, analyze it, dashboards, reports automates , excel. One thing i would tell you is that it pays really well and companies do want more people with these skills
