I haven't found an equal to music such as this. It's so intense, but not so fast that it can't be understood. It goes for so long, but when it's over it feels like it blew by in 3 minutes. This and the entire album has totally captivated me.
My mom gave me this album at the height of rock band/guitar hero popularity, and it made me a lifelong metal head. I agree, nothing has ever come close.
Don't know how much other power metal you've explored, and early Dragonforce definitely does the fast, hard, and long extremely well. That said, Blind Guardian has a different kind of power pushed a lot by the band but especially by Hansi Kursch's vocals. Beast in Black is another band with a great powerful sound and killer vocals, and Cain's Offering is something of a power metal supergroup, which unfortunately doesn't have a whole lot of stuff out, but it does feature the singer for Stratovarius, who is also excellent, and their lead guitarist formerly of Sonata Arctica, also a great band.

There's something special from the mixing of Inhuman Rampage. It's not my favorite Dragonforce album but something about the mixing makes this album memorable for me.
The mixing is crispy, the rythm guitar dist is on limit through the "chug" tone and "overdrive" tone, it works on fast songs, the drums souns brillant i love it 🔥
