My middle daughter used glue and baby powder to make mixture. Made something out of it and this won her a spot in an Arts program at our local university ( when she was like in the 7th grade). Now she’s a grown woman w/a 21 yr old daughter. She n the daughter are very creative. That is a great idea with the candles.
Wow that's fantastic Woot whoo! You are very blessed to have all three of you creative. Thank you so much for sharing your story. Grown but still playing that's the best family tie. If I couldn't do crafts and sewing painting or something I would go nuts. Tons of ideas and you know our minds are never quite.😜😁😊❣
I find it's even easier if you use a throw away tin pan like a round cake pan or a small square "brownie" pan and pour the hot wax in that, then you can roll your candle in the cooling wax and "pack" the wax on wherever you want it to be lumpy. I love my grubby prim candles, been making em for years because I don't like the price they sell for as much! Lol! Great tutorial though, I never thought to use the microwave to melt the wax. So much quicker then the electric wax melters I use, lol, or the crockpots I used to use when I made a lot of them!
Lady Judas get that melter out and make a bunches because these are so in this year. Yes on the tin I make them professionally in my business but I had no one to film so I wanted to show a way for anyone. Don't forget that freezer hardens should you need to clean wax without residue too. Yes I am nuts for my primitive candles and you know the microwave for little jobs so get the crockpot back out.⭐😜😁💜 Ps I didn't show the warped. So if you want to twist you pillar candles use warm water in a pan NOT HOT water...warm water. Lay them in and as they soften twist them. Them grubby for some really kool interesting candles. When you do show them off to me via Instagram @dandysoapdiy or email me dandysoap@gmail.com or Facebook page I would love to see them and show them off! Pss Your terrific I need you to keep helping in the comments and making suggestions because it helps us all.😁💜💜💜❣😘 and look at the primitive flower video. Do you save your onion bags? I love them Elizabeth!!! They are awesome!!! I love primitive candles and those things can be pricey if you don’t find them at a thrift store! Thanks for sharing your wonderful tutorial with us!!! Have a wonderful rest of the week my friend!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes you can the glue will not prevent the candle from going through its natural burning process since you will be using the outside. However the glue will actually smother out because it heavier and is a polymer that takes intense heat. Use year candles without worrying.🤗🤍💛🍁❣️ua-cam.com/video/c58IbmZ_9E8/v-deo.html the other showing 3 ways.
