Steffi Graf - First there was Hana

Before Steffi came along, I was a fan of Hana Mandlikova's. She was a magnificent player, probably top 3 talent-wise of all time. (The top three would include Steffi.) Here is an example of how beautiful Hana's game could be.

Hana was fun to watch! She retired too early. I saw these two play at Hilton Head in 1986.

I don't doubt Hana's talent, but at some point you have to let consistency and results into the conversation, and once you do Steffi wins.
