There is a hadith in al adab al mufrad where the Prophet ﷺ asked a question to Abu Bakr and Umar ibn Al Khattaab, while Abdullah ibn Umar was also present. Abu bakr and Umar didn’t know the answer but Abdullah ibn Umar did, yet he did not speak, and when asked why, he said he remained silent because they were elders. Manners subhanAllah
