It's not uncycled. This was a rescape, and the filter(with the old media) was running in a bucket the entire time. Regarding algae blooms, I try to stay on top of maintenance and hope for the best 🙂
I bought the Dennerle Nano Cube 30 this weekend. Have been searching UA-cam for ideas to great aquascapes. I don’t need to look any further. This scape was absolutely brilliant. All the details. Just perfect. I have ordered the different hardscape objects on your list. I may deviate from some of the plants. Looking forward to scaping my own version. Thank you very much for this great upload.
They make some great looking Nano Cubes! These are the ones with the curved edges, right? I'm thrilled you've found some inspiration in this tank, I'm very happy with how it turned out. Would love to see yours when it's done.
@@HobbyScapesHQ Thank you for responding. Yes, the ones with round edges on the front. It came as a complete set with filter, lighting and some gravel amongst other things. I bought a second identical light as I would try out more demanding plants that requires around 60 lumen/L. Will add CO2 as well. The filter will also be replaced with a AquaClear HangOn 30 or 50. The Dennerle Nano corner filters are OK, but not good enough. Besides, I will prefer to have as much tech as possible outside of the tank. I will let you know how the process goes. It will take a few weeks before it may be completed, so be patient! 😉
Take your time, no rush. I don't like stuff in the tank either, I can barely resist the urge to get in-line diffusers for the tanks that have co2 in them.
Female Betas are less aggressive than the males, and even with males, sometimes you can pull off a community tank... usually, they're more aggressive towards their own species

How are you able to add fish into your tank uncycled? And how do you prevent big blooms of algae later on in your tanks life
