Theory : each update is a new person with the tapes
Mainly explains why we keep changing set ups and as the years keep passing by Amanda changes in new ways with a new title and outfits idk I suck a theorys just like putting my idea out sometimes
if anybody wants to add on clues or de bunk this I'd be happy to hear :)
That actually does make a lot of sense. I could see that actually being true
I believe this isn’t true as the first few updates were all in the same room but with new details and all seemed to have the same wallpaper and only a monitor until the previous update with us being allowed to roam around and this new update is most likely BEFORE the events of the other versions of the games we played as it seems we’re in the attic where the story technically started and the ending of this update could be a possible ending that would lead up to the previous versions perhaps like a chase scene or something?

Wooly in this version seems to be a lot more happier and less nervous than what we see in the old version. And despite Amanda is still being demanding and selfish (do stuff opposite of what Wooly said), she sounds more like actual child. And also the part of her wondering where her parents are, which she may be an actual child that got stuck in her favorite TV shows. Idk if Wooly is also a victim but one thing for sure, the relationship between Amanda and Wooly in this version is more friendly, so this tape might be the prequel before Amanda slowly become an actual demon (or getting her soul eaten by the demon as some of the comments here said). And who know, we might see the old version (Amanda is now a demon and Wooly become scare and nervous) at the end of this game. Of course this is just a theory, a Game theory (well, before the actual game and when we can solve the puzzles)
No because when she says "Wooly!!!" She turns into a demon and stands over wooly in 13:34

I'm from the future!, do FACADE on piano. Btw, last update (not in attic) the "blood" drawings 1, it said say hello 2023! That was a hint for the new demo for attic update. And the second tape was just a teaser for future tapes.
When Amanda asks “what’s your favorite kind of pie?”, if you put “mutton”, Wooly will gasp and Amanda will say “mmm, that sounds delicious”

I like how Amanda gets more annoyed if you choose the wrong answer and suspects you don't want to help her
Here's a theory: When the original tape 1 of Amanda The Adventurer first came out, the voice we hear is not the actual girl but the demon trying to mimic her voice but failing, which is why her voice is different now.
Theory 2: When you play tape 1 Amanda and Wooly go the the store to buy apples. What we don't see in the first few original tapes is that they went home to make apple pie. We all know Wooly is allergic to apples, but Amanda insist he helps make it anyway.
Theory 3: The part when they were at the the park could have been that playground area outside the house in the last tape, or Amanda's "let me in" tape.
Theory 4: The reason you were able to put Amanda's name, when she asked what pie they should make, was because the demon was feasting on Amanda's soul and probably thought " Mm Amanda pie sounds good rn" or that's probably what happened to Amanda, she was made into a pie. And since that was her favorite show, her soul probably went into the tapes and now haunts whoever watches them.
But those are just my theories because the 2nd one makes sense, they DID go buy apples at the store but we never got to see what happened to them until now, when they made pie.

I think it makes sense that they couldn't hint thatt Wooly is allergic to apples and removed thatpart in the revamp

The other theories make sense except the start theory. if you look at there page they said the original voice for Amanda was white and they thought they should give the role to someone who is also black to give them a chance and the voices of both wooly and Amanda where people they knew so they wanted someone who was new to them
Comment Theory:
Aunt Kate saw the tapes. she probably watched the tapes when leaning the house, and it resulted in her death. when "Amanda" was released from the television, she intentionally put back the tapes in the attic and somehow got back inside of the tv. she was waiting for the house to be given to someone, to continue the cycle.
also why do all of the scary stuff happen in the 1900 - 2000's ?
People who grew up in the early 2000's are now older and making games and content of their own, and childhood memories always make for great inspiration.

I just love Mike's enthusiasm for this game.
About 4 minutes in and the first episode was kind of adorable

EDIT: At 12:30 , I searched it up and found that orange pie DOES exist, along with orange meringue pie and orange creamsicle pie. So if anyone sees this, yes it does exist. It also kind of looks good-

Okay I’ve watched many videos from a channel called 7 Second Riddles and there are some riddles that involve a number of letters in a certain word. Now the safe you find at 14:36 we need to enter a 3 digit code I have a possible idea. When Amanda and Wooly are at the petting zoo, the signs on the left have a goat, a pig and a chicken. The word goat has 4 letters, pig has three, and chicken has 7. So at that lock maybe try entering 437 to see what happens. I could be wrong about this but it’s a possible idea.

I have a theory, the aunt or grandma was us in the last updates and now Amanda is evolving for newer audiences, hence the new logo and art style. I can't get used to the voice though.....

This game is definitely gonna become the next FNAF or poppy's playtime or baldi's basics. Starts off as a small game horror, becomes huge and gets lots and lots of updates
No horror game will be bigger and as iconic as fnaf, theres no "next" fnaf. but im pretty sure amanda the adventurer will grow a lot
and then falls off and becomes unpopular a few weeks later.
and all crazed over by toddlers who are too scared to play the game thats been toned down for mascot purposes

I have a theory about Amanda The Adventurer.
*Amanda must have been cursed by some entity as she had no-one to support her, as stated in one of the tales, she says to woolly her parents aren't around at the moment. Then she escaped the orphanage, was hurt by evil people and met a lamb, (Woolly) but as she was so traumatized by how evil the world is, she wanted to cause pain to others hence hurting Woolly for fun. As for her grandma, Amanda stated that she was a vegetarian and wanted to make her sad. But it isn't her grandma, I think that she was remembering things about her grandma before her parents and her grandmother passed away. So she had remembered what made her grandma sad. After escaping the orphanage, Amanda was found by them and as punishment locked her in the 'red-stained' room (probably just ketchup, nothing sinister.) and forgot about her. Seeing how much misery she was in, a demon eventually possessed her soul. Demons target week and broken hearts, I think. Amanda has no one and wants to cause pain to you as well, and feast on you and woolly's meat in her demon form...*

Something I noticed. when you kept clicking the fridge, and Amanda took it away, the oven eyeballed the pantry because it probably didn't want to get taken away either

This company must be the key.
Sense this is a Demo, I’m pretty sure more things will come out soon. Demos don’t always have the answers but I wanted to ask if you could try what degree Amanda says in tape 1# on the safe.

Someone probably commented on this already, but I noticed that there are some letters on the piano keys, so maybe something will happen if you try playing the keys in alphabetical order. Also regarding the stuff on the fridge, at first I thought it was supposed to be like numbered dice, but after closer inspection I realized that was wrong. I do think whatever is on the fridge is important though because otherwise there would be no reason to show it for so long in the second tape.
Upon looking at the symbols on the fridge, I immediately thought they might've been some kind of Pigpen cipher, which uses very similar symbols of squares, lines and dots and a formula on their placement around an "x" to create their message. However, I dont believe that is what it is either! I could be wrong about that though, that's my best idea of what that inscription is.
I can debunk this actually, as a pianist every note on the piano has a letter from a to g on the piano. This is sadly just how we name the notes.
