During my practical it took most of my peers atleast 2-3 attempts to perform this successfully, however I am glad it I saw this video just 1 day prior to my practical and was able to perform it successfully at the very first attempt only. Really helpful. Thanks.

Good explanation.....but small piece of advice.....never use Tap water to make O.S especially in case of nitrates because all of nitrates are highly water soluble so it is quite obvious to have some nitrate impurity in tap water.....instead prefer distill water for preparing O.S because they provide more reliable results......
@@jericho7251 Original Solution in terms of qualitative analysis O.S means solution of original salt or mixture in aqueos or acidic solvents........ while detecting metal ions which are insoluble in water O.S is made in dilute acids for example salts of carbonates are usually dissolved in dil HCL instead of water

While adding concentrated acids always a holder should be used. In practicals this carries marks. 🙂
