I actually really like the look of these rims and have 2 sets of them. The screws do get to be a pain in the ass but let's be real here, the rims for 1 inch wheels are cheap enough to buy a new set if I decide to buy different tires and leave the old combo alone
Thank you for checking out my video. There will be more content posted this week...probably a tear down video and the beginning of the parts install. I had to order some bearings and shims from Amazon so that will hold up the axle build video unfortunately... But I do have a game plan on metal drive shafts... Parts for the drive shafts are now in my bench, just need to visit the machinist to talk about what needs to be done.... Thank you for leaving a comment as well. Have you modded your k10?
Yea I’ve had it close to a year now and I’m still doing stuff to it. But I just got a fcx power wagon and I’m gonna start doing stuff to it as well. I already put the stock k10 tires on it cause the ones that come on the power wagon suck
Good to know on the power waggon. I have a few parts here for them but do not have one yet lol. I'm surprised with these k10s how so little companies are interested in doing hop ups for them. Wondering when they will start. There are hop ups but you really have to do your research.
In regards to the steering angle with stock electronics. You have 3 settings with the slide switch on the radio control panel slide the switch over to the right , your radio will operate the settings under the “b” category ie light controls and steering angles You then press the button that is labeled rev/st angle . You can choose from 25%50%100% steering angles. The steering issue you are having where it turns more to one side seems to be a trim issue or end point issue . Your endpoints are not adjustable so the only way I can think to try and correct the steering throw is to make sure your steering settings on the radio are in the neutral position and then test the truck for strait line driving . Then if it pulls to one side with no steering input on the radio, unscrew the servo horn from the servo and re install it back onto the servo with the tires aligned as strait as possible .
@RC Custom Creations Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Just did it then and it worked so thank you 😊 just got mine a few days ago and was just having a go of it earlier
I'm not sure what happened , i thought i responded to your comment. I am sorry for the very late reply. There are most definitely a lot of screws to complete a full rim, let alone completing a full set at one time . But really, given the short length of each screw, they dont take much time to assemble. Thank you for your comment, and happy rc-ing 😊
I wrapped the inside part of the bead lock tightly with solder then a little hot glue to stabilize it for putting it in and they are wonderful now!!
Have you used your truck much since you attend the rotational mass? How are the drive shafts holding up?
holy cow there are enough screws holding them together.

I also cut my foams and it hold my bbs in place but I used birdshot bbs so I think they may be smaller.
How do you like the BBS? I'm curious on others thoughts
I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I have a k10 fms as well.

Right I didn’t know when I got it how little there was but it’s definitely a good looking truck
I. Get a truck like your
These trucks are pretty cool and make a fantastic project to build and customize
Hey, on a side note do you know how to get more steering angle ? Mine turns more to the right then the left ?
