Ethiopians and Eritreans are not your ancestors. Black Americans are West African descended. Ethiopians and Eritreans are Semitic peoples closer to Arabs than Black Americans. It's good for you to reconnect to Africa, but you should be doing it with your ACTUAL ancestors. There is no such thing as "Black" in Africa. Africans identify by tribe, clan or nationality. The term Black is a European term forced on enslaved African people as a downgrade from their actual roots. It's a foreign term to Africans.

King Tewodros ,the first picture, he was so powerful and man. If white people do something wrong in Ethiopia during his dynasty, he throw them to prison. But before him there are kings who followed close door police and no white people wouldn’t allow to came Ethiopia. After they tried to spread some religions. He really did great job in uniting Ethiopia and eager to introduce modernization. King Minilik is hero. He kicked out Italy and show we are born free and die free as any people in the world. But Western countries still working how they destroy Ethiopia. They know Mom Ethiopia’s history culture every thing. Germany give Geez language which is language used in Orthodox Church, in university level. Because they took lot of medical books which written in Geez by our religious father they still using that wisdom. Also they have plan to have civil war in Ethiopia base on ethnic identities. Now a day we need our black people help to keep Ethiopia. There is Amhara people genocide support by Ethiopian government and extremists Oromo people. If Amhara and Tigray peoples eradicate am telling you u will not see Ethiopia any more. The whole world keep silent in this genocide we really need help to stop Amhara and Tigray genocide. Be voice for voiceless Amhara people. If things going like this all our history and Amhara people will disappear within this year. Pleas be voice for us. We knew how to defet our enemies out of our country, but how to defend your self from your brothers who really want you to die how you kill brothers. Be voice be voice we will disappear as we never exist.we are killed by our brothers because we are Amhara and speaking Amharic. Need voice. Brother empror Theodros was from the 19th century(1855-1865). He united the fighting tribes and created a more united Ethiopia. He was eventually dethroned by the English(with the help of his local rival noble enemies) because he decided to kidnap all the English ex-pats and forced them to build him western weapons. The English walked in and were led out of the country once their job was done. The rivals made sure they didn't stay. He is a significant in our history because he ended the dark ages of zemene mesafint(era of lords) where all the smaller lords controlled smaller territories and were fighting all the time. He was a fierce worrior and forced them all together to make a one nation. But his one issue was he was NOT one of the decendants of the Solomon which ended up being his downfall in the end and why his rivals used this against him. Menilik on the other hand is responsible for creating the current geographical shape of Ethiopia. He took a more subtle approach to conquering. Where he let the local leaders stay in power as long as they paid taxes to him. And also he defeated the colonial advaces of Italy. Fun fact it was reported among the Italians in Brooklyn that Minilik was a white man who led the Africans to defeat them in battle. There are actual records of newspapers that reported it in the US. He beat them so hard that they depicted him as white.
