1/4 cup condensed milk ( I love it with 1/2 cup)
1 cup of ice

I've made this drink before and it's very good! To anyone reading, a note I would give is that if you want to make multiple servings for later, I would try to only make a portion of what you're going to drink then and keep the lechera and lime juice separate. I've found that the milk and lime juice will separate in the fridge if you let it sit and it will not combine back together well if you try stirring. I think it may start to curdle if it is in contact with the lime juice long enough, but I could be doing something wrong.
If you notice it separating, a couple seconds with an immersion blender is a quick fix!
My partner is Brazilian and I've never heard of this lemonade but adding dairy esp sweetend condensed milk or table cream in surprising places is about as brazilian as you can get!
It's not a Brazilian only thing. Here in The Philippines, Thailand, Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico, and I'm sure many other places as well, add condensed milk or thick cream.

I wanted to try this with lemons since that's what I was searching to start with. 😅 then stumbled into a lemonade that's a limeade. I'm even thinking of doing this with other fruits like oranges and bananas. Oh my.

Today, I watched a video posted two years ago that showed the exact same recipe but called it Swiss lemonade.
That’s a nickname given to the drink because you typically use Nestle brand sweetened condensed milk (La Lechera), which has a picture of a Swiss milkmaid on it.

Where my family is from there are no yellow lemons, only green limes and it's called a lemon (in Spanish) so yes, it would be called a limonada

You both are beautiful Ladies and beautiful personality, I been watching your videos since 2017 the first video I seen of you cooking was you making for your first time shrimp Chile's rellenos and your story about the creepy guy that visit his family from mexico to work in the Mexican food family business they guy you said in one of your video that said to you in slow motion giveeeeeee meeeee aaa kissssssssss lol... I had a Mexican taco shop with my ex husband I cooked almost all of the Mexican meals you cook in your videos but I got tired of the taco shop its slavery and I refuse to give him or his family members my grandmothers recipes so it be hard for him to keep running it the taco schoo with out me since I catched him cheating, and I was the only one that did the cooking I started supper early mornings and leaving very late at night closing time was at 10:00p.m supper late I work 18 hours a day it was all family that work there but 1 other person the only one that was not family. I never wanted to teach no one the recipes because they where my grandmothers so i never teach no one how to cook the foods recipes they only prep the meals and shop vegetables and take orders and clean and wash dishes. Ones I catch my ex cheating I quit working cooking for the taco shop and got a job somewhere alse working in construction something i was raise doing as a child because my whole family work construction and my father teach us construction since we where in elementary age kids he made us work in his construction business we did not have a choice. So my ex had to sell the taco shop after it was sold he convice me to forgive him. I forgave him but divorce him 12 years later by then I already had 3 son's and was tired of catching him for the 3rd time cheating. After I divorce him My life became so much better with out him. even do I became a single mother of 3 boys a 17 1/2 year old and a 5 year old and a 1 year old. My age was 37 years old at that time. it was so hard trying to survive as a single mother of 3 because my ex turn out to be like most Mexican men that don't care to help out with his kids. But takes care of someone alse family and ignoring his own kids. but my youngest is about to be 18 years old in a couple of months and my two older kids don't live with me my youngest one is never home his always ether in school or busy with his teen age life and its like if he also did not live at home with me because his harley ever home mainly his only home to have breakfast and to sleep. And it's been like that for almost a year I had to learn to live my life with out my kids it was so hard the last 5 months. But I already got use to not having them around no more making large meals and etc. Now I'm not interested in cooking anymore. And since I'm older in my early 50s I change my meal plan to healthier meals every now and then I make the Mexican meals of childhood and restaurant and taco shop meals but just for me since I no longer need to cook for no one alse. Plus I don't eat much ether but I still like to watch cooking videos. But I notice that my taste buds have change with age. Anyways wishing you girls and your mommy all of your love ones your children the best in life and the best of this earth. I have told many about your You tub videos when they talk about good Mexican food I tell them you want to know good Mexican food look up views of the road recipes. You won't stop watching her video or you will find your self cooking her recipes or going to go by Mexican food to eat ones you finish watching foods on the road. Choa 👋 take care ladies.
