Your Ronda video is very complete. You showed the city high lights and history. As well as the winery. Excellent tour. Thanks for sharing your adventures in Spain.
I was just there in May and June 2022 for my third time and already miss it so much already. Southern Spain is my would-be home outside my native Midwest USA.

Hi Laura! finally we have the time to view your video. Que belleza de ciudad! Thanks for sharing all the details. We will add to our list of place to go next year. Safe travels! Zoe and Ramon.
I've been to Ronda several times throughout the years, the first time being when I made my first trip to Europe in 1975 and drove around for 45 days. I am a bit of a Spanish freak, loving everything connected to the language and the country. For me, the view from up above looking out over the gorge is definitely one of the most beautiful in Spain, but not the town itself. There are more beautiful towns in Spain, but that is up to the viewer. It has some interesting streets and buildings but I think it is the location and the spectacular view that make it special.
I suppose I still have lots more of the country to see, of course the tour guide was biased having been from Ronda herself haha. The views are pretty spectacular though!
@@davide39 Toledo is obviously one of the most beautiful. Then there is Segovia. Salamanca for its churches and its marvelous Plaza de España, Zamora for its Romanesque churches, Lugo for its Roman wall, Cáceres for its well-preserved or well-restored Medieval quarter, Mérida for its Roman ruins and bridge, Trujillo for its palaces and connection to Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of the Incan Empire, Zaragoza for its palaces and magnificent churches, Albarracín province of Teruel, Teruel itself, Berlanga de Duero--and the list goes on. Spain is a marvelous world that would take a lifetime to know well. I am so lucky to live almost on the border with Galicia, a small country in itself and I have two countries at my fingertips.
@@norah3220 Everyone has different tastes in places to visit. I love history so I usually go to a place that has some historical interest i.e.a castle, the site of a battle or even a spectacular location. Places that have really caught my eye are Berlanga del Duero, Soria (a fortress and desert location), Madrigal de las Altas Torres, Avila (Isabel the Catholic was born there), Mogarraz, Salamanca (giant photos of the village inhabitants are on the walls of the houses), Granadilla, Cáceres (an abandoned village that was supposed to be covered by the waters of a reservoir), Santibañez el Alto, Cáceres (a village perched on top of a mountain--spectacular views), and Urueña, Valladolid (a walled village overlooking the plains of Castile. These are only a few. There are so many more.
I'm so excited to see beautiful Ronda. We are staying there a night on our tour of Andalucia. You have a natural talent for this and your relaxed vibe really is welcoming.
Kimberly, I am curious: Are you using a tour company or on your own? I am starting to plan our trip to Andalucía (first time) and still figuring out logistics etc.
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Love this Laura and you as well. You and your videos are excellent. I want to go to Spain so badly in fact I have put the flag of Spain on my profile foto in Facebook
Another excellent and useful video! Thank you. I am looking forward to watching the rest of your Spain series to give me leverage with my wife in our Spain v Italy debate. Perhaps once you spend a bit more time you can prepare your own list for a video. Cheers!
Thanks so much, glad you are enjoying it! It would be a tough call between Spain and Italy, although I'd probably still side with your wife in terms of food and beaches 😅. There are two more videos to come in this series that I hope will help you anyway! 😉
As many times in my trips, I remember that I was at Ronda train station coming from the south, I think from Cadiz/Gibraltar. Unfortunately, I didn't get out of the train station, and I think it was midnight, but I remember many people left the train at that station, so I thought that it must be an interesting place.
Laura i am enjoying your videos. Is the drive from Marbella to Ronda difficult? Keep in mind that i am a Florida girl and not a fan of winding mountainous roads. are there other ways of getting there from Marbella?
@@martnez2003 Thanks Laura. That's very helpful, we hope to go onto Setenil de la Bodega from Ronda. I will research to see if the bus is available for that route as well. Is 1 day in Ronda enough?
My girlfriend are planning a trip to Spain, so we can explore Andalucia. We want to stay in Nerja or Ronda. Which on is better to stay and explore the region with a car?
Spain 🇪🇸 was literally called “ Andalus “. Occupied by the Muslim empire for more than 800 years along Portugal and part of italy and Sicily ,, sadly Muslims lost it due to many sins and following women and alcohol and this worldly life.
Luckily the Christians recovered the peninsula. Thanks to that, Spain today belongs to the Christian and secular Western world. If it had remained Islamic, we would be another medieval-minded Muslim country, with enormous inequalities between men and women. No, thanks. Spain took advantage of the best moment of the Islamic world and became Christian at the time of the Italian/European Renaissance. The Islamic world retreated in all aspects. Spain did a good business.
Oh !!! Rhonda is magic that always has my heart. Love , love , love
It's such a stunning city, I can see why it has your heart!!

Hi, you can take a bus, Avanza, from Marbella to Ronda and it takes 1 hour 20' for around $31 each way.

How I can get in Ronda Fort

My wife and I visited Rhonda in 1994.
Madonna filmed 2 videos there . Take a bow and you’ll see . Both amazing videos in my opinion
Greetings from Thailand
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, hope you enjoyed the video! :)
Does people speak Spanish or English there?
Madonna - Take a Bow brought me here. It was filmed here, I’m trying to come here and listen to that song crying n shit. 😪

Do many people speak English here?
You have to say this is not Spanish
Nothing has built in this city by Spain
It literally is Spanish, Cope and seethe Moor.
