I love that Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is still voicing Nina, 19 years and counting (she first voiced Nina in Death by Degrees).

Yeah, seeing Nina and Anna fight never gets old. I’d like for them to choose sides just to meet each other in battle.
She was more or less hostage of kazua and forced to work till she found chance to escape knowing either Jin or kazua will win . She does wants Jin to win but would like to stay safe side by doing the only task kazua asked her to do so he does not comes after her if he survives . Or atleast tekken 8 went in that direction . 🙄😤😮💨🤨

Nina Williams looks absolutely stunning
Nina is my favorite character, and I like her interactions in the story mode in Tekken 7 and 8, but she is never playable, and I would like them to expand more on her own story, as someone mentioned in the comments, it would be cool to see more of her relationship with Anna and Steve.

Nina's working relationship with Kazuya is unlike when she was still working with Jin in T6 it seems. She looks so profesh and not as chill as she was with Jin...
Exactly, and that makes perfect sense.
Kazuya has higher standards and he's been doing much longer than Jin lol.
I guess that means that despite her professional ethos, she actually liked Jin.

I’d actually like to see them work together for a change. Anna’s Tekken 6 ending was too fun to watch.
We need a new D3ath by Degrees Co-op game. Imagine the banter potential with both characters. Nina being stealthy and tactical while Anna is loud and boisterous.
Anna doesn't truly hate Nina as she has to end the feud multiple it's Nina that won't let go because she doesn't know any other way.

If there was one thing I wish Tekken 8 did with Nina, it would’ve been exploring her Relationship with Anna and Steve, probably for Future DLC or Tekken 9 because now I want to see more with Nina and Lee.
Pretty sure she hates them tbh. In the past she fights/fought her sister because of sibling rivalry, Steve, despite being her Son? She claims no connection to. I think one of her old victory lines before "isn't it past your bedtime" was "Go on home, I am NOT your mother" to him.

@@tjstarzz9231her current victory line with steve is "it's better to stay away from me " meaning maybe she kind of care for him but don't want to admit it.
She was done dirty by story mode 😭😭😭 no explanations to why she's working with kazuya when she doesn't seem to be happy about it. No real cinematic fight scene. She's just there and Anna is not even mentioned. She does the job and goes to vacation... 😭 The story is sooo rushed. Everything is spectacular but kinda empty here and there. Too bad 😅

At least she got an interaction with the new Tekken 8 character; which was very important. Reina was so impressed by Nina, she wanted to hire her after their fight. Even in the fight, Nina knew she was being tested.
Also, it shows how much more intelligent Nina is than the rest of the cast when she figured out who Reina was just by their fight.
I’d also like to note that Reina is obviously a fan of Nina due to her habit of stepping on her opponents in a lot of her moveset.
Simply put without Nina, Reina wouldn’t exist. Nina is truly the best female character in Tekken. Nina is the best female fighting game character, no contest.
I mean, she's an assassin for hire. Not much explanation required.

I think Anna Williams will be a DLC character for Tekken 8.
I hope Anna has the ponytail this time and keeps the bangs. This way it looks like the sisters are biting each others style and mocking in a way.

i expected dialogues with jin and nina tbh. he left and went to work for kazuya and all this situation just passed so clear? also ok we learn her feelings about steve but we need a battle with anna. And nina goes for vacation? like in tekken 9 she will be with reina or she will not be in the game? anyway i like her new style. it's more femme fatale and spy and mystery it's.... like nina's personality i believe
Same with me bro, Jin and Nina already look close since tekken 6, even in TTT2 they have special win and lose pose, and there was even a lose pose created special for the two of them which the other characters don't even have.
If you ever saw tekken panchiko scenes, there is scene where jin training in his private room and nina just stand at corner and check her gun and watch jin around as her job as bodyguard.
i was expect she will meet jin face to face and jin ask for an explanation why she with kazuya's side but in the end it's never happened

I thought I missed the scene where Nina is leading the Jacks from the opening. It seems like it’s not part of the story and doesn’t even happen. I thought in that scene she looked badass.
Also I think she’s the only character who has extremely few interactions with others. As far as I am aware she only has an interaction with Lee, with Steve and Kazuya only dialogues change slightly. She could have had interactions with Jack(from T8 story), Jin, Claudio, Alisa (from T7 story)
Some parts of the game looks kinda rushed.

The devs don't seem to care about Nina anymore, plot-wise. It feels like she's there just because you can't have a Tekken game without her.
I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE how after 8 video games there's no real solid storyline for Nina. She's the only woman in the game to be in every single edition of Tekken and she's still regulated to a supported character with no storyline of her own. Her best story was in Tekken 3-5 and that's still very much meh.

She's one of the filler characters. She's not that important to the main story.
@@beskarman38 Your comment is disingenuous. “Nina’s not that important to the story,” but she was hired by Kazuya to lead the G Corp forces and she had a very important interaction with the new character, Reina.
Nina was the only character smart enough figure out who Reina really was while the rest of the characters were clueless. Reina is even looking to hire Nina after their fight.
@@BCDC123 I totally respect of you're a Nina Williams fan, but she's not THAT close with the Mishima/Kazama bloodline. By far, she's still a character filler in my book. So to me it's not disingenuous.
Quite ironic that Nina joined G-Corp since she worked for the Mishima Zaibatsu when it was under Jin's control and then called Lars a traitor even though she herself became one later after Tekken 7 to 8. She's pretty much become a hypocrite and seems complex I mean she says she doesn't care about Steve Fox and claims that he will never be her son. Yet her actions say otherwise it's qutie a paradox. I thought her sister Anna was complicated but so far it's just mind boggling.

um interaction with steve fox, her son. I was looking forward for some development or at least a resolution between mother and son.
That was done in t7 and has basically been finished now. It’s very unlikely that they will continue with that storyline between Nina and Steve

His short participation is due to the fact that the game focused more on Jin's part, and all the characters that had a link with his demon and family side.

She is an assasin for hire. She doesn't have any morals or principles, she works for those who can pay her.
Nina works for whoever hires her. She’s just there to get paid and dip. Even Lee Chaolan hired her and her issue with that was, he tried to bomb her in Tekken 7 storymode.
She completed her job and I’m sure after she got paid, she confronted Lee for payback as can be seen in her character ending.
