I love Chromebooks, i'm planning on buying one, preferably a mid range to high end one, just the lack of bloat and intrusive updates, with it also being so well integrated within its ecosystem and always being snappy, with the added bonus of it being available laptops that has the specific hardware functions i want gravitates me towards a Chromebook above a Windows laptop. The only things i use Windows for specifically, is gaming, and i don't need a laptop for that.
What chromebook would you are interested in and what's your budget I've done an extensive amount of research on them you know in tablets and phones and all that c*** and regular laptops so I'll be happy to help you with that because there are a lot of chromebooks so what would you specifically use your chromock for like what apps

Chrome OS is for the minimalist, very simple, just a browser and that’s it. Sometimes I use an usb to boot chrome OS, the experience is quite good, and it is fast.
just bought from the internet 1 Hp and a Dell Chromebooks. When I turn them on I get Network not available. Then it goes to another page that says continue as guest. Then a box comes up and says in blue box says learn more, even I get a hand it wont go any where. I have always used windows but I have had one for over 20 years. Just can't get anywhere. Please someone please help me. .
Bro, my wife took it to her school, she is a teacher aid and got the IT guy to have a look, He got rid of everything on the chromebook and re installed, working awesome now.
It would have been helpful if you had shown how to set up a chromebook step-by-step and get it working. And what about running chromebook in guest mode?
How does one start a video conference with his Brother or Sister in Hungary? I'd like to see how is the Video Conference set up and established with someone in Europe with Chromebook?
Probably the easiest way is to start a Google Meet. Send the people you wan to to meet with the link via email. Once they join the meeting, you can all see each other assuming everyone has web cams. There are plenty of guides online showing you how to setup a Google Meet.
Windows is better as there are some pro apps and software android couldn't handle it, Chrome os is based of mobile software which is android in alot of way its a bloot up android I'm not saying it's like samsung dex but u get what I'm saying.
@hkalec facts plus it more desktop based while Chrome os can do Linux and certain desktop stuff but it's based more on a mobile version, like setting and other system apps UI looks like 2014 blot android UI wise, and a lot of things behave like mobile and it's well optimized for desktop. If Samsung dex was at that level then I'd be happy because you're getting close to 2 in 1 but chrome os is meant to be a laptop only and it still being a mobile device in a lot of areas in sucks. Samsung dex needs to adopt more chrome os software while chrome os needs to separate itself more from Android because that's what android tablets should be going into 2023.
depends on your use case and budget, if you have a low budget, get a Chromebook, because Windows sucks on low hardware, in the midrange it's largely up to you, but generally you can find good Windows laptops in the midrange price, but you will also find good Chromebooks, often Chromebooks in this bracket will have better screens and overall more hardware features for the price, when it comes to high end, it the just depends on what you prefer. Windows is good if you absolutely need windows specific applications, such the full Microsoft office suite, Games, or Photoshop. but honestly if you don't need Windows specific application, i'll always advocate for Chrome OS, because it lacks all the bloatware, it's seamless, does a better job of being integrated within it's ecosystem, it's definitely not mobile based, it's a full desktop OS, that has ability to do mobile functions as well, it certainly isn't just a browser, you can install full desktop applications, as well as mobile applications and you don't always need to be online, that's just another myth.
@@Root_001 what will you use it for what specific apps will you use a lot of apps function without any internet connection and if you think about it you nearly always have an internet connection and if you don't you could just hotspot your phone Chromebooks are great for about 95% of the entire population because 95% of the population is consumer base they're just regular people who just want to watch content social media that's really it very few people do like heavy video editing if you if you need to do that s*** like commercial-based or you know if you're a content creator like UA-cam but I don't mean some b******* like you recorded on your phone you're like on UA-cam creator now no then you'll need a PC or MacBook depending on what you prefer but for everyone else a decent Chromebook is great

Most people that don't like chromebooks never used one. Everything can be done in the cloud now so a chromebook is just fine.

No need for an antivirus on ChromeOS.
