For the 2 men he went back with to no have spoken up about anything is suspicious, sure they might not want to get involved with the media.. but if you’re truly innocent why not try help the case. A kid is missing, sure he ain’t a golden boy but cmon those 2 have gone ghost. To say they’re irrelevant to the case just isn’t right. 2 middle age guys driving a 19yo kid back from a festival early hours of the morning for him to leave after not staying for long, full well knowing it’s the complete opposite way to his hotel leaving him a 10 hour walk away. It’s all sus, Spanish police know more than they’re letting off.
Hi, and with the bus not due til ten o clock why did he not go back to the airbnb? or wait at the cafe? why walk across the mountain and not the road where he may get a lift?...I believe he wanted to get away from them, couldn't risk waiting for the bus and didn't want to risk them finding him along the road, I always thought that the last person to see someone is usually the one that is focused on the most. Not in this case it seems. Stinks of corruption. The two men weren't even at the party so what were they doing there? can't help feeling they were sent to pick him up but told not to spook him. Too many questions in this for the Spanish not to be looking at other avenues as surely they can't be that incompetent.

His mate then mentions 12days on that he video called saying he was “slipping on the rocks” yet Lucy his other so called mate said she was the last he called and he was on 1%, she didn’t even mention thinking about coming to get him. The Spanish police think the 2 are completely irrelevant, they think the uk will be of no help and they’ve called off the search yet not the investigation. So they know something just haven’t revealed their lead. His mum withdrawing the money isn’t too weird as she’d have to anyway, but she got her nails done before the interview and not spoken since, flew friends and family out yet none of them went on the search. We’ll find out soon I reakon, people don’t just vanish. You’d think we’d have learnt from the McCann case but is becoming likely to be a similar case.

It’s likely the men were there to pick him up & he felt uneasy at some point & did a runner and he was later picked up on the road if money was owed.

If the two men were driving south to the airport to fly home on the Monday why did they not bring jay back down with them knowing the distance and the heat. Luton flights go to the southern airport they would have had to drive passed the place where they picked jay up from to get to that airport. they did not fly home until te tuesday because of the police interveiw but they where meant to fly home on the monday. It doesnt make sense.

To add Lucy found these guys Airbnb just from photos. She knocked on the door and supposedly spoke to the 2 guys! Maybe she did because she knew exactly who they are and where they were staying. Once they had his supposed location and she found the apartment so easily after the event did she not go straight there rather than leave it and report it a few hours later and then go to the apartment to speak to the 2 guys and then set up a go fund me page etc. She's done alot in the first 24 hours... She is very concerned for her best friend... I am telling you she is involved!!

Only six people turned up because they specifically asked for people who were experienced in rock climbing and traversing ravines tunnels and caves the terrain is dangerous under foot . There are also lots of rocks ready to fall at any given moment.

if they really believe he is In those mountains, get trained specialist mountaineers, get metal detectors also for any 'dead mobile phones ' go and hire a private specialist team from the funds to locate your son , the spanish search and rescue did a thorough extensive search but if the family are so "devastated ' the mountain search has been called off ( not the investigation ) that's what they should do .

Only a witness account from an old woman who can't 100% say whether it was in fact jay or not I'm sure you'd be much more intrigued what the 2 men know. They probably said no comment to all the relevant questions

I could be wrong but I think Lucy is involved. How do we not know if she left early to make it her alibi but she may have set it up for him to go with the 2 guys. Maybe his so called friend Brad was jealous of all the attention Jay got and maybe Brad and Lucy are an item so they thought how can we get rid of him and they hatched a plan as now all of a sudden Brad comes up with the gravel story and that Jay was laughing on the phone and Lucy setting up the go fund me page to make it look like she was the concerned friend. If he’s dead after 2weeks itll be almost impossible given the terrain heat and predation to find his body, if he’s being held or in hiding time will reveal all.
I don't like that the two men have been ruled out. I find that premature. Why did he travel all the way back with them and then leave an hour or so later? I bet there is more to the story and it will involve them in some way.

The search was called off because they searched longer than anybody could survive in this terrain, out there in the elements. It makes complete sense and is the standard procedure.
I honestly can't believe how people lack the common sense to understand that. If he's there, what they would be looking for is a body by now. No need to use so many people for such a task.

It's not a surprise, 14 days of searching in difficult terrain and faced with a ton of criticism from them British, including the family,

Yes the would be expert search team slaging of the Spanish police Civil Guard.when thy spent 2 weeks searching for him.well let the family get in there own search party .the Civil Guard. Go bk a very long time and the finest in Europe. Its awfull to undermine these brilliant people. I have utmost respect for.them and the police out there in scorching heat having ti wear protective clothing to get the family and other searches.to undermine them.
Well he should of been in prison nothing adds up he's not the saint he's family made out the Spanish police has spent to weeks looking for him nothing adds up and with he's back ground any thing could of happens to him

I'd have thought the B&B owner would have already been in and cleaned the place, ready for the next tenants. So any evidence there would be compromised if not gone. 😮
