Jaguar Invicta Special attends the Biggar Rally 13 August 2023

This is the first showing of the Jaguar Invicta Special at the Biggar Rally. One of my favourite shows renowned for its friendly antmosphere and diverse range of vehicles and stalls. Met up with so many interesting enthusiasts that the day flew by and must have seen barely half the field. Weather was far nicer than feared and a super drive to and from. Car was on good form. Particulary pleased to catch up with the new owners of a highly original I956 Chevrolet Belair I owned for a few years back in the mid 1990s. I shall upload a little clip of it. It is in very appreciative hands and looking superb. I have had many US made vehicles spanning 1914 to early 1970's including three rarities: Crescent, Jones and Jordan.

Not! The mike on this budget Lidl Silvercrest camcorder seems to pick up the unwanted sounds when driving better than speech. Actually makes it seem way more noisy inside than the reality for the occupants. Suppose I could have muted it but since these videos attract a very limited audience and do not aim for more so I usually just go with publishing what the original recording captures good, bad or indifferent.
