I think Taoismand Buddhism actually have some thought-provoking Ideas. It explains more of the nature of things rather than just saying here is a God that forces you to do shit.
Wow. This was really poorly conceived. I dont know if this is true of publishers. The speaker is talking only about speculation of how things are and the very idea that writers cant think or create because of this supposed suppression of ideas is ridiculous. Writers write. They write what their mind creates. As it has always been. And publishers always have published works they think will sell. Some take risks. Some do not. All of this seems to be hyperbole.
I do think people making this argument about a perceived erosion of free speech either don’t actually know what they want to say, or they know full well their rhetoric is both offensive and of little value.
"publishers always have published what they think will sell" Sales clearly have nothing to do with who they take on or reject, they're absolutely explicit that they are kicking people out purely to punish political speech.
@@tjfSIM when the allies landed on the beaches in Normandy in 1944, that was offensive. To offend is to use physically vioIence in the real world, not in the imagination nor prose nor poetry. These political views are not offensive. You are not even offended. You're just angry. You only have yourself to blame for being angry over differing opinions on an emerging issue. You both mutually disagree with each other so why are only you justified and not them?
@ So who is angry if not yourself? Who are you speaking for? It's all Weasel Words, you're acting unconnected to all of this despite making proclamations about everyone, even claiming the authors know what they say has little value. If you don't see what they want to say, what is clouding your judgement if not anger? Because I can see it clearly, don't tell me to disbelieve my lying eyes, it will not work.
All Cultures are not equal.
"with impunity" means to go unpunished. So who is the executioner for what punishment?
I think therefore I am has lost all meaning…
All religions encourage not thinking.
Relativism is a disease. Seek help.
Lol and social media does?
Most people don't think
@@ThatVeganTeacherUA-cam Oh, sweet irony, we meet again. 😆
