To be fair it was pretty low spec, i really dont see why he didnt spend the 12 dollars and upgrade to a sealed bottom bracket. Plus here in canada we pull norco's, giants, scotts out of the dumps. But people tend to ditch bikes in sub zero conditions lmao

Great video! Here in the UK, our local refuse centers have loads of old bikes, many have just been thrown away because people cannot be bothered to deal with an issue that stopped the bike from working. I've picked up almost new bikes with nothing more than flat tyres!!

Thats because this brake system doesn't actually pull the brake... it pushes the housing instead. You'll notice if you study the video, he even pulls out a 'Pear End' cable to start with. Look up pear end brake cables. They're more common than you think..
