Singapore need not look far for a foreseeable solution--- join a Greater China and be part of it alongside the Mainland,HK,Macau and Taiwan.
Ban farm subsidies. Let everyone that wants use about an acre of free tax free land to grow their own food and live on. Under ground homes, and Greenhouses and indoor grow rooms for year round growing could help produce more food in less space.
